That seems like it'll lose to caster boxes, a group of 6 SKs for ~6k damage ain't gonna cut it when their dps is like 1/5th of a mage/wizard otherwise.

Don't waste your time, only thing it has going for it is it's short. Mostly just 80 minutes of being beaten about the head and shoulders by the most over sappy piano score in history.

Does it have the current live hand to hand issues and caster spells doing insane damage, or is it closer to classic values? IE, are mage pets gonna solo bosses etc.

I could see rolling a warrior if you already have dedicated people/guild to play with, but god the idea of trying to solo level a warrior and find groups just brings pack ptsd for me.

I have an i7-960 and a single 980, get pretty stable 60fps with nearly everything on max/ultra. You may need to tone down just a touch for x1200 res, and stay away from the advanced shadow options entirely as they will completely tank your fps. Lowest I've seen my fps drop is like ~52ish in...

The real hilarious part about the DPS parsing is that it's just the magepetsthat are flat better than every melee class. No one seems to mention that the mages themselves get spells like this: Lava Bolt :: Spells :: EverQuest :: ZAM So it's going to be what, end game velious before melee...

It's plenty bad. These dudes are parsing with gear and best in slot vanilla weapons (some cases kunark weapons) and fists are still competitive. So literally everyone who melees skips their weapon slot until the very endgame, then still loses to a mage pet? Sounds great.

Fist damage isn't just monks, it's everyone. Warrior at 50 melees for more unarmed than with any vanilla weapons that I can think of.

The PVP can be fun if you're in to that sort of thing, but otherwise the end-game content is still sorta lacking. There's some fun to be had trying to solo high level instances on warrior etc, but otherwise meh

I don't even really play any more and MM2 looks like dogshit. Few chase mythics and cryptic command, the rest is....awful? Lol @ ravnica bounce lands being uncommon. Serun Visions is like a 6$ common and they couldn't toss that shit in there instead of the myriad of literal trash they included?

Dicked around on the beta for a bit, xp seems pretty near old xp, with like ~5% per kill at level 1 for whites. Dunno how it looks later on, but early levels at least seem pretty long. Shared bank means you'll probably want to skip the first 10 or so levels anyway with a fire beetle eye/bone...

Mage pets will tank the game until velious, so just play a caster for now and PL whatever you want in 2 years or whatever it is when velious is out.

They'll need to do something to crafting/mats droprates for sure. I don't think they really had a choice though, market is already starting to get assfucked by bots, and it's only gonna get worse the longer it runs.

The hulkbuster fight was indeed awesome, but kind of strange at the same time. I don't think of Starks X-buster series of suits have EVER worked out in the comics, and they always end up with him getting his shit pushed in, especially by the Hulk. Was fully expecting him to get wrecked, but meh...

I won't lie, the urge to sell the whole thing to some pleb who can't/won't build and make myself something shiny and new is REALLY high. Realistically though, I think the better option is grab a 2nd 980 and ride this thing in to the dirt for the next ~3 years then start from scratch.
