Some true gems from resetera on today's news:
1) I've never, ever ever been one of those "whelp this might be it for me" on gaming people.
This seriously might be it for me on gaming. I think I'm just gonna go into my backlog. This is so bad man.
2) I'm actually scared about the people behind...
Through 105 hours I only have one crit knife but this Harlow build works without one. It’s gotta get nerfed eventually but yeah I want to abuse the green vex build for a bit before it gets gutted ha
Harlowe at 50 now, think she’s great and better than Rafa turret I had with less investment. Nicktew has some awesome builds. Probably just about done, though might level a vex this weekend. Super fun game, needing some more content for end game though!
Yeah I’m 50/32 but don’t need to keep leveling as everything dies quick enough. Game needs something at end game but not sure what. Pinnacle bosses? Strikes? Raids? Maps? Something… vh5 isn’t difficult once builds come online
Yup, that son of a bitch took me the better part of half a day to drop it too. It's funny, I've got bis mods/shields/ordinance and weapons for Harlowe and Vex and haven't played either. Playing Rafa and none of his shit is dropping. RNG
After dozens of kills finally got the one shot shotgun to drop and got the exotic rafa mod, though it rolled AR dmg. FFS. Build online into vh5 now, will probably go harlowe next. I like that once you beat it once you can roll another toon at lvl 30 with all story shit done.
Rainbow shotty is great, still can't get the other 2 good shotties to drop. Up to UVH3 and still having fun farming and fine tuning my rafa build. Rolling Harlowe next.
Yeah Rafa is great, I'm nearing level 50 and still barely started last zone. Enjoying side quests, puttering around looking for open world bosses, etc.
Rafa is good, but he's not even close to the most broken character - Vex has 2 billion/trillion damage builds that require almost no set up. Harlowe also has a very strong boss killer build. I'm hoping that as a pve game they just leave well enough alone.
Thoughts on the game as I'm nearing the 3rd major boss:
The good:
Gunplay
Gameplay
Fun
Loot
Builds
Some genuine belly laugh moments (shocked by this)
Graphics/looks
The Okay:
Story so far
Some of the humor
Open World (I like it, but there is a LOT of empty space imo)
Music
Runs great for me...
Yeah, after the latest update to the client I haven't had so much as a hitch to be honest. And I'm not on some bleeding edge rig, and I'm playing at 4k. Game is pretty much Borderlands in an open world with a destiny bike to travel around on. My only "beef" so far is hit and miss humor, so...
Got to the open world, few minor stutters loading in the open world but nothing major. Dlss performance, 4k, 5070ti. Game looks great, handles great, and is performing ok so far. Just got claptrap in open world though so we'll see.
I think this will be stupid fun, as usual. I loved bl2, and didn’t hate bl3 as most others did. Even like ttw for what it was. I just want to grind baddies and look for broken guns, will see how this reviews tomorrow
That one button leap slam warrior is crazy good - easiest campaign clear by a distance. Helps having a ton of great gear I imagine to breeze through everything.
Saw crack ants were back, played a few maps and feels basically the same. Out of boredom, made a LA deadeye and am up through end of Act 4. Rofl. Can see why 70% of all over 80 players are this spec. It shits all over minions, and felt op as fuck even in act 2/3. Took a while for minion to even...
