I was always under the impression that going 144hz at 1080p was the way to go if you were trying to save money as everyone always seems to say that 144hz is like amazing. I'm in a similar boat, but just have a gtx 970 so won't pull the trigger for a while.

I'm not so good at the stealth take downs, but getting an extra $1k for taking out an outpost in stealth is pretty awesome so I try every time. Just did the airplane obstacle. Probably took 15 tries. The story is pretty awesome and I keep getting distracted by other shit to do.

How much do perks matter? This is where in these games I usually get crippled, because I'm afraid of choosing the wrong perk that'll fuck me down the line.

The beauty of this game is that every time you play, and win or lose, you want to play again to try doing something a little differently. Lol. But these are not quick games that lets you try new things over and over. For me, it's a 4 hour process to play a game. Just one more turn....

Scroll wheel is default button to switch signs. Stuff like that is a nice feature of using the m/kb but the much more fluid movement is a, imo, much bigger advantage for using a controller.

What builds did people go with? I'm rolling a signs build, as I wanted a challenging game, but also feel like a bad ass. Not sure if I'm there yet, but at level 14, using Igni on dudes works out pretty well. Suggestions for a different build? Also, I'm 45 hours into the game, and just level 14...

Sad. I didn't think that even on the lowest settings that my laptop would chug. Plays Witcher 3 and other games just fine. Gonna return it for now, as I'm on the road so much that's when I'd play it, not when at home on my Desktop.
