I was looking into a Back to Basics atlas tree, have you tried that at all? Picking up all the scarab and map nodes for scarab drop chance and map modifier%, conqueror, shaper/elder, synth map chance drop from bosses, then just blitzing maps. No clue if it's good but seems like a relaxing build.

Pickup the necropolis keystone for more and random modifiers then you can ignore setting it every map. The league itself seems alright, depends how the crafting turns out, but I love pretty much everything else they're adding and changing. Mark is the perfect game director for PoE.

More Damage for abyss can be bad if you accidentally pop the spire before it spits out all the waves. Plus with all the projectile lag, I like being tanky enough to stand still while they beat on me.
