The game on the Wii U was especially bad as it was the one with the underwater battles, which were fucking awful. I wanted to keep playing but just said fuck this after a while. MHW is such a better game, every QoL aspect is a nice change.
Switch sold 14.86 million units in 2017, Super Mario Odyssey sold 9.07 million - Gematsu
Pretty good overall. Happy to see Xenoblade break the 1M sales mark.
Messed around with a Skeleton Mage build before I got bored, felt really strong too. Straight spectre is better for bosses but skel mages feel good for clear. A lot less babysitting as well, the jewels are cheap too.
Still learning Bow but it feels great to use. I use it as my backup to my Longsword but debating going full time with it. I just have the water and thunder ones for now but going to farm up the mats for the Anjanath one too.
For Anjanath I just needed to get my defense up to around 70. I think that stopped the two hit KO stuff, carted once on his quest due to getting blasted by his fire attack I didn't see coming.
As a 30 something, it's really not that bad. Certain weapons are a bit worse about it then others(Charge Blade) but I am finding the Longsword to be pretty easy to understand/use. Has a pretty basic attack combo and it's not as slow as some of the other weapons. It's not like trying to learn...
I personally really hated the combat in 15. Magic system was dumb(lul friendly fire) and you basically could just hold Circle/X (or whatever the dodge/attack buttons were) and not have to do much else. I mean at least FF13 had a somewhat interesting combat system and was more or less a...
Gamestop is still running that $50 trade in bonus if you have an older PS4/Xbone, got a 7100 from my local store as well(didn't even realize mine was a 7100 till I looked on the box, not part of a bundle).
Yeah I do agree about the combat getting kind of boring. Like you said, you can basically set an entire combo to a single button and just mash. I didn't like how the other characters played either, Velvet's moves just worked together better I guess.
God damn and I thought I was strange playing fucking D&D on the weekends with buds in higschool. This shit is just fucking weird and my brain doesn't understand it.
Edit: The person in the blue sweater is supposed to be a "she"? ok..
Combat didn't really click for me until the fight at the end of chapter 3. But that was mostly because stuff died pretty fast before then plus not having access to the break/topple/launch stuff yet.
Yep, what you have there will work.
Orbs will stack; you will see them visually circling an enemy. And yeah, during a Chain attack if you keep bursting orbs you can keep the round going. Btw orbs have 3 "health"; an attack that is strong against an element(say Using a Fire attack against a...
Think I'm going to start off a gunner this time; I was a bit turned off from trying it in previous games due to needing a separate set of armor but now that's gone. Probably still try and keep a Switch Axe upgraded though, that thing is my jam.
The stuff in the upper right is the blade combo tree. Referencing this image:
Lets say I start a Dark combo with Rex with a level 1 Special(specials being the attack you use with the A key). To continue up the tree, I have to use another Dark or Light element special of level 2 or more...
