If the cost function is getting to the treasure, how would you evaluate how close a team got to opening the treasure? Dupe the boss into thinking some stupid strategy is great by purposely getting further away from opening the treasure, then just walk in and grab it.

Then the strategy would be to teach it to be really dumb then kill it. Anyways, you already have that experience available in most MMOs, just go PvP.

If they want threat management to be a thing then give players tools to manage aggro. Can't just remove every aggro tool from the game except taunt and make threat matter. I actually wouldn't mind if aggro was something you had to actually care about, beyond just doing more damage as a tank...

I think part of the reasoning that will be used here is that we had the artifact weapons that made us much more powerful and able to deal with the Legion and now that we were forced to give them up a lesser threat could be relatively more powerful.

Lets not overlook that time goes by like 30x faster in Draenor apparently, thus giving the Horde the ability to generate troops and advance scientific/weapons knowledge at a much faster rate!
