PoE is rarely a grind these days. I suspect that might be part of my interest in WoW Classic, the inherent character investment from grinding.

It does not zap immediately like Storm Brand does and it activates less often. Both of those make it hard to impossible to feel smooth. Might take a break next league depending on what the announcement is. Kind of more excited for WoW Classic. Or I'll play it for a week and go "oh yeah..."...

Interesting. I'll admit I was going on word of mouth and perception. I think the principle of the matter, don't balance content around items, still holds though.

The things we asked of each other generally take more than a week to see real change. I'm not going to stop being a hothead overnight and the budget, since it is an average of at least 6 months, isn't going to start returning to normal numbers until after at least a few months of good behavior...

Raid flexibility is important too. I remember it being pretty fun as a healer or tank to do shit outside of raids. And by that, I mean not fun. Probably going to roll a feral druid.

TD was probably good without the inflated prices on maraketh emblems.

Flexible OT that also brings Innervate, Battle Rez and ok DPS is pretty nice. I'd rather that than a compromised dps warrior spec.

It doesn't, my complaints about HH are completely within the context of Timeless Domain. I'm being vocal about it because it sucks to see content so warped by one item and then the lesson learned incorrectly.

That's not an IT issue, that's a human issue. I try to be sympathetic because I know I make the same mistakes but I also try to improve. A lot of people are dumb AND don't give a fuck.

No, movement speed is "drops per time". Just because you complete a map faster doesn't mean you got more drops per map. I'm fine with "drops per time", that's a core principle of ARPGs.

Time-based snapshots of supply and price could allow you to extrapolate effective rarity. I don't know if that data exists. And, yes, I agree, HH and MF gear should be removed. HH because it restricts design space. And both because they increase "drops per map".

Yeah, that it is true. I'm not sure what my hesitation with that specific idea is. Kinda hard to put it into words, but the social aspect, which is what I'm primarily looking for, will be diminished if I'm not pushing raiding content. More of the Feral questions...I'm guessing what I want...

I really loved Feral during TBC and Wrath, the flexibility of tank or dps in one spec and gear(minus trinkets) was pretty awesome. I'm guessing this didn't exist in Vanilla? And I recall people still not using non-Warrior tanks during TBC. Why exactly was this? Warriors still had better...

I sincerely doubt that. Streamers get HH relatively early if that's one of their goals. The rarity nerfs affected them very little.

Mostly rational choices, even surprised to see them augmenting older content with Legion content. However, mostly spoiled by them nerfing content(Timeless Domain) instead of Headhunter. Get rid of the fucking item already or we're just going to be having this conversation again.

Yeah. There's a social aspect it's missing. Drunkenly shooting the shit while doing some 5-mans is some of my favorite memories from WoW. PoE doesn't seem built for that.

Fair enough. I just wanted to temper the expectations of someone that sounded like they haven't touched Arc since it was dumpstered. The chain range needs to be bumped or it needs to be scaled by some stat the player can control.

That's definitely not in classic. As an aggro-stealing asshole DPS warrior, I'm ashamed to admit I don't remember when specifically that was introduced. I *want* to say it was in beta, removed before released, and wasn't reintroduced until Cataclysm.

You were in FoH? I raided with the B-team(that was then cannibalized into the A-team) as Trolloc the druid, starting around Ulduar. Raided a bit on my warrior, Gethol, later on. I quit about halfway through Cataclysm.
