I played 2 hours before work on PS4 Pro with no issue. It's not enough for me to pass judgement on new loot system, or skill system. That said it's an AC game so I'm totally biased and enjoying myself already. : )

It definitely looks like the Xbox Series X is the best system to buy if you don’t care about exclusive. It has better hardware, better backward compatibility and Gamepass. Sony is basically riding on exclusive titles.

Finished it tonight and enjoyed it quite a lot. It‘s cliché at times, but it’s really well done. Well written, well directed, well acted, interesting characters and subject matter. I love the period, and set designs were really nice.
