Well, it rolls both hard and normal mode drops at once. If you do HM you get double drops throughout the entire thing, assuming you didn't do normal beforehand. Who knows wtf they were thinking with Crota loot rolls.

The exotics aren't on separate tables, but two chances is still better than one. No idea if drops in HM are weighted at all.
