that is correct with you assumption on enemy movement. map will show troops when recon is up, squad lead has to communicate that to the squad. tag is squad only, squad leader map marks are team wide mostly, some can only be seen by squad leads and commanders.

Yeah, it's unassumingly good. I put in 16 hours the previous weekend in one play session and didn't even realize it. Haven't done that since WoW came out back in the day. Even with all the issues people are fiending to play, they are just bitching about it.

Also note that you can dump points into other trees that you don't specialize in, I did not realize this until a few weeks ago. You can put points in to trees up to the chain emblem which adds even more options.
