I run no generator fire barb with reapers/cindercoat/grim harvest and never have any problems. WW/Hammer on mouse, avalanche/stomp/warcry/shout for others.

Fire arrows kill them dead for me. Mileage may vary depending on your strength, but fire arrows are something dumb like 85 physical 115 fire before any of the bow scaling iirc.

Learn magic of some kind, or make the dragonslayer bow and just oneshot them that way. There are more than a few of them I've found so far that you'll basically never kill with melee.
