raytracing is not a big deal prob take a gen to get it fast done well enough, dlss is a much bigger deal can get card to more than double framerate of past gen.
a person like you should probably skip this gen, but there's more to the story than that.

from what I can tell there's an overstock on the 10 series so they're keeping inventory limited on 20 series up a bit and 10 series will have a deep discount, they want you specifically to buy their glut of 10 series cards because of the same gpu mining that you don't want to think about...

k series is unlocked so you could overclock it, the new series of gpu's are coming out in less than a month, you could probably pickup the low end model.
nvidia makes a reference card and the third parties mod and overclock them, add fans ect, they're all different, evga is a good one, so is asus, msi, gigabyte
