Report: Gruden's handling of trade irked players
Time to stream every defense that plays Oakland. Hell just play anyone that has that match up. Lost that room quick.
Only crazy people are defending Eli at this point...like Giants management for whatever reason. They're either in hard denial or just tanking anyways. I'll agree Beckham hasn't been at his best, I just think most of the reason falls on the offense's inability to get the ball to the receivers...
Guys muff punts, it happens. Yes, it was a big mistake, but that shit happened early in the 2nd quarter. All he did after that was throw (yes throw) a 57 yard TD to Barkely and catch another TD along with 131 total receiving yards for the game, turning what was a 14-3 deficit into a 31-30 lead...
I think it's about time we finally get to actually see Khabib v. Tony. If Conor can take on whoever they deem to be next for him he can fight the winner down the line
Like I said, he'll give respect to his opponent to a point. But him talking about himself was anything but humble after his victories. Nothing wrong with that, it's hilarious.
Also, him and Jose have never gone again, yet.
I just don't think Beckham has been the one costing them games, not in comparison to how bad the line has been, or Eli playing behind that line (slight nod to idea that he would be better behind a good O line).
As for the Apple trade...Saints a little all-in this year. They've already traded...
He'll never be able to play up to it with Eli at QB behind that O line. With Barkley getting shut down most of last night, their only O was the few times Eli managed to chuck it up to Beckham or Shepard. Giants' 2nd round pick, Hernandez? Fucking lost in pass protection.
Backstrom hits 600 assists (actually 601 with 3rd assist on the night), Ovechkin 4 point night...could have went for hat trick with empty net but selfishly as always passed to Oshie who had a layup to ice it.
It's hilarious to me Eli wastes so much time with dumb sneak calls. He's terrible at them. Meanwhile when they just throw it up for Beckham he makes an incredible catch to make the scoreline look more respectable than it really was.
Supposedly Eagles and maybe the Colts were in on him for a 2nd, but Raiders held out for a first. I know Redskins had discussions about it but basically walked away immediately at 1st for price tag.
The problem is, aside from the truly elite scoring ones, it's too easy to find even decent QB's in later rounds like Goff, Stafford, Rivers, etc. They're going to have some down weeks, but most of the time they'll put up similar numbers.
Trust me I know. I also have a bad history with leads going into Monday night against a single guy. Just pissed b/c I played the Chargers' Defense in both of my leagues, the one in question I swapped out the Rams D and put them on the bench last minute (I mean, fucking Titans gave up 11 sacks...
That shit is brutal. I went into tonight in one league down ~25, but Hunt and Kelce have me up 20 going into tomorrow night. Guy I'm playing has only guy left, and it's Julio. I'm hoping 20 is enough of a cushion.
Mahomes is the real fucking deal. He's clear front runner for MVP right now. Obviously he came into a stacked offense but he's adding his own elements to it. This is impressive as fuck.
Most games he's just uncoverable. Fucking hate it tonight, Boyd putting up a bagel for me, but Green is insane. Sometimes I feel like it's how the Falcons are with Julio when it comes to Green, he could put up 200 yard games whenever he damn well pleases if they force fed him 15+ targets.
I'll be honest, that was the best our front 7 has looked against you guys in a long time. Kerrigan might have had a good game or two in the past, but as a unit, to shut down Zeke like that and put as much pressure on Dak as we did was huge. That's why we won the game. Offense aside from...
Get fucked Dallas. Only the Skins would almost give away that 10 point lead in under 4 minutes. Fucking terrible play-calling when we got the ball up 3.
Chargers run game just isn't the same without Gordon. Ekeler is good, but not the same type of back. Good thing people still somehow leave the Williams guys open for 50+ yard TD's.
Think it's hilarious Rockhold after beating Weidman and claiming the division had nothing for him has basically just been hurt or getting beat since then.
