Yeah I'm kind of the same way, I've tried almost all the classes and Psyker seems the most fun to me.

There is a talent that marks them yellow for your entire team, I think it's the level 15 talent. You still have to mark them with Red after that ability is on cool down, but a good vet can use it to take out the most dangerous targets before it expires.

Mapping to L click is great until you're all attacking the same thing and nothign else is marked letting you know a rager is about to blow out the back of your skull.

I don't play anything higher than Malice with pugs and even those we fail sometimes due to people running off. I usually look in the discords for people when I'm ready to do high level stuff.

I had that same issue and I think it was due to full lobbies, it eventually started working after a few minutes.

More wounds means more times you can be downed, if you get down to one remaining wound (Infected, the purple color) you will die instantly if downed.

Yes, wounds are a necessity.
