I don't like the gear/item tiers. This relies too much on RNG and removes an even playing field, it turned me off from several BR games now.

Everytime I check Twitch Apex is 100K plus viewers higher than fortnight so it must be doing something right.

Black screen is due to overlays, turn off every overlay you are using. Took me awhile to figure this out. This includes, discord, msi afterburner, any other overlays other than shadowplay.
