There's no really any comparison; the entirety of cradle is the kiddie pool, you don't even qualify on the scale until you leave under your own power. Judge is the top power level of an intergalactic civilization.
I strongly suspect Lindon has ninja'ed a massive shortcut though - having a...
Clearly his instructions were : 'What you did in supernatural ? yeah that'.
He made a good point though - 'No-one is going to explain any of this to me are they', lol.
Good voice actors, good animation, good music, great action, great art, interesting story.
This one seems a winner from the first episode at least.
Plus, David Tennant as the mad scientist ;p
"That was an accident ! I don't know how to care intentionally about other people's shit.'
I don't know if it's the writers, the actress, or both, but Margo is such a fun character. Come to think of it, probably my favorite out of anything I'm watching at the moment.
Wow, really liked this one. Great music, fun characters.
If this is an example of what they will be switching to, I don't mind losing the Marvel shows that much.
I thought this one was good, other than everything to do with Hugo. I mean it's not like the rest of the plot was high art, but the scenes with that guy were almost physically painful.
The Starfighter Invitation - Andrea K. Höst
The launch of a ground-breaking new MMO with breathtaking scope stuns a lot of gamers when it turns out to be even better than the ridiculously hyped previews. As people explore the game, they begin to become suspicious that the game is actually...
The DLC are almost all worth it in some way or another, but they don't all add to each game. Like the robots one lets you play robots, but doesn't do much if you aren't. Utopia has some fun end-game stuff and Leviathans adds some entertaining mid-game space monsters.
I'd probably get base...
Adrian Tchaikovsky's Shadow of the Apt series probably counts.
Hmm, looking through my library I see :
Flash Gold, Lindsay Buroker
New Amsterdam, Elizabeth Bear
Emperor's Edge, Lindsay Buroker*
* This one is labelled steampunk but I am not sure it counts for reasons that are a spoiler.
The guy isn't a software developer, he's a creative director. That's why it's interesting news to me anyway - from my perspective almost all of BFAs issues are in game design, not in any technical implementation or art.
"We realize some players don't like the taste of the shit sandwiches we give them, but our scientists* are hard at work on a way to make shit taste like chocolate. In the meantime you can always ask someone else to share their sandwich with you"
*Not real scientists
I agree, although I'll give them credit for trying something different - becoming a strong, confident woman and kicking the shit out of abuser arguably makes things worse, which isn't something you see very often.
Eh ? Disney owns the rights to all of those shows, netflix is renting them off them. Disney can just up prices until the shows are no longer profitable, or just make it clear that the rights renewing is not going to happen, no matter how much they pay.
Netflix cancelling profitable shows...
I think the mistake was more assuming that just because MTG could get away with a greedy as fuck pricing scheme 20 years ago, that that means they can get away with the same thing now.
Pretty much the same mistake a bunch of 'WoW killers' made, just because *someone* succeeded enough to get...
Entirely apart from assuming the mechanism, this doesn't seem likely. You wouldn't 'just be them' if you have your own memories, and attitudes and behaviors seems a particularly big stretch. Even if you suddenly find that dick is attractive, it doesn't mean you are going to go out and suck them...
Eh, I liked the first episode. The Noah doctors are obviously the dumbest motherfuckers alive though - they are the kind of experts that were too dumb to make the cut for the crew of the Prometheus.
Meh, that's overly simplistic - it's not like Pirates of the Caribbean or Transformers had some complicated cerebral story. It's a fair point that the visuals are a significant part of the appeal of anime, and really don't transfer over at all. That being said though, comic book movies have...
Discord's Apple - Carrie Vaughn
I got this one ages ago and only just got around to it. It's setup is actually kind of like warehouse 13, where a storeroom of legendary items is kept by some particular guardians. Although, in this case, they are keeping the items for some specific time when...
That makes it worse, if it was actually a mass issue they could just take all the kids then people by weight rather than an arbitrary number. Plus, the shuttle ceasing to work instead of moving more slowly when overloaded requires some serious handwaving.
Face it, it was just a half-assed...
Shield Hero : seems good so far. That chick clearly wants the dick pretty desperately to come up with all of that on the spur of the moment.
Boogiepop : Hmm, didn't really grab me. Has some potential though I guess.
Wow, that episode was almost as subtle as someone smashing you over the head with a sledgehammer while screaming the moral at you.
There are 'Drugs are BAD kids !' after-school specials that are embarrassed on the behalf of the writers.
