    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

Welp, feeling like another game where we out possess and out gain the opposing team while settling for too many FG's (and not even making them)

Yeah that throw to Beasley was dropped in there perfectly.

Sigh. Lets just drop potential point saving picks.

Might be time to sit Fuller. He's just getting beat every play.

He's got whatever Cousins had in Week 2.

2 drives each, Yards: 130-70 Skins, Time of Possession: 10:55-5:01 Skins Red Zone: Fucking fail, Cowboys 7-3.

And another concussion for Jordan Reed...don't know why they felt like wasting 2 plays in the red zone before that one.

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

It's what we need to do. Big plays will be there all day, but I worry about our D being out there too long.

    That could have been PI.

    Or that happens.

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

Can't afford to be kicking field goals when the D is going to give up 7 more often than not.

Missing tackles will kill you. Watching Kerrigan and Murphy the last 5 days lose contain on QB's they know can move (Rodgers/Prescott) is just silly.

My body is ready. Just give the offense a fighting chance D.

Just Simms Things: "It's almost like watching the same team on both sides". Yeah, one team carried by their D, one carried by their QB. Completely the same, Phil.

I actually thought it was a pretty legit call (if we're talking about the PI). Called that shit out live as it happened, plenty of contact and holding. The angle they showed on the replay was horrible for showing all the contact.

You can't help it, people literally have to work it in and say it all the time. It's the best name in the NFL. I truly hope at some point he's Head Coach Jim Bob Cooter

    NHL 2016-17 Season

2016, and Crosby and Ovechkin are 1 and 2 in goals scored. Kind of weird for Ovechkin to be so high this early, he usually doesn't heat up until after the new year.

    NHL 2016-17 Season

Can dig Golden Knights. Really hope the NHL has success in Vegas, I think it's a bold move on their part to be the first major sport to put a team in there.

Didn't he have a pretty good year under Gase last year? I mean the team has a ton of holes and has for awhile, but I thought people were predicting a down year for him because the Bears lost Gase since he is head coach down in Miami now.

They will open up the checkbook. But we can lose one WR of Jackson and Garcon and save money there. Let Doctson get healthy in the offseason and start to contribute. With Reed and Crowder we will be fine.

Be interesting to see how the QB market shakes out. At this point I don't see us letting Cousins go unless we overpay. So of the available guys, there will likely be Cutler along with Fitz. The Romo option will be there for someone who wants to pay a king's ransom of picks.

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

Brady/Gronk would be a better comparison, he's just a TE and not a WR. Edelman isn't in the same league as the other wideouts in the best combos.

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

The NFL is going to have to institute a centralized review system for some of this shit. They've literally put in many safe ways that trigger automatic reviews for refs to not fuck up games and they still manage to do it.

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

Given where the top QB's salaries are going to go after Luck's deal...I'd probably live with $20M. I've always tried to be tempered with rating Cousins, just because the turnovers were such a problem early in his career. When he looks like he did last night though, makes me think he has...

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

Uh...no. If they don't at least limit Zeke Dallas will do what it normally does, run the fuck over us while the D gets a good rest. I think Dallas' D is a little overrated, not so much in how they are playing, but if a team can actually not let them grind out long drives continuously their D...

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

It might, depending on what he asks for. Rumors were we were offering some term at $16M a year and they wanted $20M a year. I'd imagine 20 would be the starting point this time around, but it depends what he feels about some of his targets around him (if he wants to keep Jackson or Garcon)...

Not sure why 2014 was more egregious. Since you were home for Thanksgiving it's roughly the same. Both having to play the night game Sunday and traveling to Dallas for Thursday game at 430. Both just terrible scheduling decisions by the league, but they're basically the same. It'll be an...

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

Yeah schedule makers did us no favors. Don't forget if we somehow manage to beat you guys on Thursday (I know, impossible, mighty Cowboys), we'll only be a game and a half back. We also play the Giants final week of the season and already beat them once. It's a little weird not having to...

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

uncog I feel that was a poor decision. Feeling high scoring game Thursday. Biggest concern is Zeke going for 200+. No, really. Our offense has to be able to give our D some breaks, or the D is going to need to get some big negative plays (see: sacks) or turnovers.
  32. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

Can buy. Although aside from red zone efficiency our offense has been there all year. Obviously Dallas is a much better team than they were in Week 2, but if Cousins throws the ball like this in that game (more important, actually sees the wide open guys deep in that game), we put up 40+ easy.
  33. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

Pretty much Ravens v. Steelers for the North. That Christmas Day game could be the whole year.
  34. Merrith

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

Actually putting a team away is important, as is improving our horrific record in primetime games. Also when Dallas/Giants/Vikings/Lions/Tampa all win (which affects division and wild card), plus losing tonight would bring Green Bay within a half game of us...it was important.

Well Wombat, I guess your Packers were so bad even our inability to win games by more than 1 score was erased.

Ballsy. But shows very little faith in your D.

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

Always comes down to whether our D can hold a lead in the 4th.
