I'll chuckle if Goff ends up throwing for 2+ TD's in a win and Fisher goes super troll mode in his presser. 5-5 through 10 games? Magic.

All true, I just quoted a post trying to portray Wilson as below Winston because Winston managed 18 more passing yards in 52 more passing attempts last season. I felt we could go deeper.

Jooka, any response to my thoughts on Wilson? Yay/nay?

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

This is known. I was just trying to point out the reasons why you can't just use the "barely over 4k yards" argument. Of the 12 guys who threw for 4k+ last year, only 1 guy had less than 535 attempts...Wilson, who had only 483.

Can't keep track of what everyone's definition of "elite" is. I agree he was propped up by an incredible defense and running game at the start of his career (and probably for his first Super Bowl). He's evolved since then. We're talking about the guy who led the league in passer rating last...

Stop the run and force 3rd and long...it's kind of the formula to make any QB look rough, though.

I only remember the guy right below him went over 4k yards with 52 less attempts. Please stop being a moron.

Gotcha, just weird to see him just get his $20M a year + deal this past year after missing the playoffs 3 years in a row.

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

So are we counting the cap number in those big years then? Thought his average salary/year on that deal was slightly over $15M a year.

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

Curious what Bubbles point about the $20M mark and guys winning rings after signing for it. Eli didn't start making $20M+ per year until last year, no? They haven't even made the playoffs since their last title. Eli is also the super weird playoff QB. 8-0 in 2 Super Bowl winning years, 0-3...

I'm betting NFL is finally starting to realize (or at least believe) that they're reaching full saturation point in the US. In their mind the falling ratings are probably just a product of that, and their natural response is to try to open up new areas of interest/revenue. I just don't think...

No it died back in like '07? Was more of a developmental league anyways. I was thinking an actual new division. Just don't think only one team in London would work well at all.

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

Are they going to have a training complex stateside then? And "homes" away from home in London? Otherwise they're still flying back and forth each week. Shit would be rough. Unless they find a way to do an entire NFL Europe division I just can't see it, even then it stretches travel out...

I will say that despite their positions, the Saints have been playing some good football lately and should have beaten Denver if not for crazy blocked/returned XP...and Carolina had a similar crazy loss that interrupted them sort of getting their shit together. No one trusts Atlanta...

I don't mind the Thursday games, but I can imagine it being a pain in the ass for players/coaches. Completely messes up your normal prep, increased risk of injury, etc. I like having a night game on Thanksgiving now though. Food and Football all day. I guess the only bright side is we'll get...

It's not the biggest deal, but would be curious to see what other teams that have played on Thursday night this year (although we're not even the night game, 4 hours earlier) had to play on Sunday night the week prior. I mean it's the Thanksgiving game, which I love when it's us and Dallas, but...

I blame RDA for the Nate Saga. Conor could have waited for RDA to get healthy for his shot at LW but wanted to put together something to save the card. Then fought 2 weight classes above what he had ever fought before in UFC to do it. Once he lot to Nate, who many consider a LW, he had to...

Really wish RDA had never gotten hurt. At this point set into motion a chain reaction that has held up the FW belt for 11 months at this point...but can't hate on Conor for wanting a break, he's had 4 fights in the last 11 months, in 3 different weight divisions.

espn.com Power Rankings are laughable. Eagles at #8, second highest of NFC East teams...despite being 0-3 in the division (having lost to all 3 other teams) and last in the division overall. Giants 2nd in the division and are only ranked 16th in the power rankings.

Wish Ferguson hadn't had to pull out earlier in the year, we'd already have seen that fight. Khabib actually having fought a couple times again now makes me feel like he can be first in line at 155.

Khabib v. Conor is the same battle everyone talks about. If Khabib survives on the feet long enough to get him to the ground, that round (and potentially the fight) is over for Conor. If he survives on his feet.

You can be one of the most penalized teams in the league and still get the benefit of the doubt on big calls in the big moments. They get away with more precisely because they always push the limit. That's also why they get called more, but because they do so much even doing a little less the...

Yeah obviously the turnovers were big, that fumble was killer. OT would have been fun to see. Find it hilarious Carroll went for 2 to try to go up 9. 2 point conversions were not a good decision yesterday.

So did anyone else not completely think Seattle got away with another one with the non PI call on 4th and goal last night? Gronk looking back for the ball, wasn't the one to look for/initiate contact, gets hauled down. Nothing. As usual with Seattle's D. There's no unit more beloved by the...

Moon you're crazy. Ambi covered the Baltimore D side of the idea already, but the whole point of not going to Romo is to not mess with the winning streak and rhythm that the team has with Dak in. But you want them to throw Romo in to shake off the rust and rest Dak? Could fuck up everything...
