I'm planning on running a server, but I'm about to move to Japan literally tomorrow so it's going to be some time before it happens. If I do it and it ends up happening I'll make sure that in the worst case scenario some folks here will have database copies etc to prevent a situation like this.

Just camp or zone for 30 seconds. Empty zones close to save server space so when you zone back in it will be a new instance of seb.

I got my 59 pet spells from Tolapumj. Make sure you're killing him and Protector.

Yeah the autoscribe was entirely level based and ignored expansion. The 61-65 spells will all be in because of the PoP spell system. The 51-60 is up in the air. Idk if anyone does researching here but you may need to research for some spells that would otherwise drop.

It has to be trivial to add the nexus port to the Luclin npc. I'm not really concerned with the level of convenience of being in a different spot in the zone. I'd rather have the huge brick of stats on the item and occasionally have to run one zone length.

Imo the right click functionality is the least important part of it since the flagging mob teleports you anyway and you can always use the NL Charm to port back to MPG. Yeah the pets do work. My original plan was to chain pet for raid mob kills but it turns out that all the raid mobs through kunark can be snared and don't summon (except Phinny) so I've been snare kiting everything.

Bard/Wiz would be cool. Resists/speed/dps and the Bard can probably tank at the group level just fine. Also you can bind anywhere even melee can be bound in any zone.

For the spell effects you need to go open the custom spell file you downloaded and delete anything over 40k.

We played there as a full time raiding guild for three years or so. Never had any issues with servers being down. I guess by then they'd given up on testing things though so the Test server was hardly messed with outside of the monthly patching.

Something something pre-alpha. In all seriousness I definitely hope they polish the graphics before launch but I know that's probably the easiest area to slack for what's likely an under funded and probably mismanaged project. It looks better than pre-alpha EQ though...so there's that.
