I think Conor is crazy with this quick turnaround, but maybe he knows this is his only shot at holding both belts consecutively. He was supposed to get the shot at it at 196, so not completely a surprise, but it will be almost assuredly over a full year between him winning the FW belt and his...

3-0 is 3-0. They'll likely have to play better to continue winning against better teams, but if they do no one will care how they got those first 3 wins.

I did? Let's look... Now I know you're challenged, but that's not saying Norman won at all, I said it was even. I gave reasons why each guy can claim success in the game. OBJ got his yards, Norman took him out of the game for very long stretches, and prevented any game breaking play. Oh...

Cathan, what I said was most receivers "of that level" would get their catches. And we were talking about OBJ. Who you just listed as one of the guys on that level of elite receiver who will get their catches against almost any defense. So what you're saying is, you're dumb and you really...

These days, most receivers of that level 1 on 1 are going to get their catches and yards. Unless you're completely bracketed them with safety help on every play, it's pretty tough to completely shut a guy down, let alone with the rest of our defense doing what they are (or aren't, as it were)...

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

OBJ never going to live that down. It's funny, I'd call the match up with Norman yesterday even. OBJ got his yards, but didn't have the big, back breaking play...and went long periods not being involved. Guy is amazing, but lets his emotions rule him too much. Just play, and be amazing.

    What's going on at Blizzard?

I didn't remember Patchwerk being as big of a gear check for us, nor did we clear all THAT much before him. Was mainly just the healers learning how to not be shit, and heal big spikes. I'm trying to remember the exact order we cleared through Naxx 40, at most before Patchwerk we did Spider...

I mean, it looks bad because it occurred in a tie game, that directly led to the game losing field goal, but the rest of the game was near flawless. So...it fits in the 4th quarter gaffe category, but it also completely agrees with your point that he had to be almost perfect for them to even...

Did you completely miss the part where I literally pointed out the 5 TD/1 Int game probably fits your "had to play perfect" for them to have a chance narrative? I was agreeing with that. People were asking for examples of big mistakes in the 4th quarter from Romo. It still qualifies, and led...

Ballers (HBO show with The Rock)

Speech at the end was pretty damn good. Rock is the man, and can actually act. Although I think for this show he draws on a lot of his own personal experiences back at the U, and relationships he has with NFL players to have seen first hand all the shit that goes down. Still love this show...

Do you live in/near Dallas? Maybe you only focus on national media and the negative ones. I live near DC and feel like I'll hear about Dallas as much or more as the Redskins. Always a chance they finally put it together around Romo! You shouldn't be this grumpy today, you guys scored 30+...

Eli is my top choice if he's playing against the Pats...although if Rahim Moore is on the opposing D then it would be Flacco. Otherwise in normal situations I take Brady. Bringing up the rear is Romo, just behind Rivers (who at least has played in a Conference Championship Game).

They are easy targets, but the media uses just as many positive spin stories on Dallas' chances before the seasons start as they do all the negative ones after the seasons are over.

I'm thinking of the late game pick against the Skins back in RG3's rookie year, in which he had 3 picks total. The game ending pick he threw against the Giants in the playoffs after they actually went 13-3 in the regular season. The essentially game ending pick he had against Denver a couple...

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

You're not wrong about Romo in general, he's a better player overall than most opposing fans give him credit for...the issue is his "heightened" reputation (and this goes for the Cowboys in general too) with the media. Every year seemingly they are trotted out as a potential contender, and...

The difference is Romo's were always in those vital games that could have led to the playoffs and were the most soul-crushing. That meme should never die...partly because it's hilarious, and partly because his always seemed to be the most meaningful.

Time to rethink some predictions. Vikings are for real, that D is scary enough to give Bradford time to not feel pressure to do it all himself. Eagles/Wentz are for real, same thing basically save Wentz has looked completely pro ready. Eagles new favorites far and away in NFC East.
