Fully agree and have always said the combat is for me the best part of the game and extremely satisfying - but the way they decided to guide you to 50 does a horrible job of allowing you to experience the best part of the game. Thankfully we'll only have to slog through it a few times.

Yeah they do have pretty awful airflow, I bought one a year or so ago in a frenzy and it was priced pretty well but the thermals were terrible so promptly sent it back. Otherwise, they are pretty good bang for the buck in terms of specs - fixing their thermals would make them pretty attractive...

Yeah, 50-60 hours in a FROM game is a helluva lot more compelling to anybody than a 200 hour romp through Assassins Creed Part 15. 30 hours to mainline (meaning NO other content, dungeons, etc) is a perfectly fine length, perhaps even a shade too long given my current schedule with the kids...
