got myself a day off and ready to rock... and patch day. Having EQ flashbacks Some of these dmz missions are annoying as fuck. Beeen stuck on the 6 kill streak and kill 3 choppers with a specific gun loadout ones for ages now.

think I won DMZ last night. sniped a guy in the chopper as it was exfil and already high in the air. Pretty sure it's never going to get better than that.

Still wrapping my head around this DMZ stuff. Is there any overarching point to it beyond xp and enjoying the game mode?

I tend to be very lazy with my army sizes. I've tried looking into the theory of them and implementing them but it never seems to make a huge difference in my games. So I tend to stick to my standing compositions 10/4 (or 2 if money super tight early on)/1 -> 10/4/10 -> 16/4/20

quite enjoying this series so far, quarter into book 3. I can't pinpoint anything amazing about it, but I find it very easy to read and keep wanting to go back to it. Grabbed the boardgame too, which is fun enough and very cool to see all the different characters on the various cards.

Have to say, two campus feels like half a step back from two point hospital. Only a few maps in and doesn't feel challenging at all, and a lot of the QOL are worse. nothing major but little things like training up peeps and even hirering them.
