Hes easy on foot as well until phase 3. I am dying to him because of the terrible camera and terrain issues. We all like to suck From Softwares cocks but half of the difficulty of these games is the terrible fucking camera. Oh and spell/skill queuing... I never noticed until this game but its...
Man this fight would actually not be very hard if he didn't constantly roll onto the fucking rocks. I always diez because I cant maneuver because hes constantly on the fucking rocks
I'm at the mountaintop of the giants, staring at the Fire Giant wondering if I should go back and do some of the stuff I skipped or take this big fucker down
Dodging feels WAY harder in this game than other From Software games. I cant tell if its input lag or they just decided to make every attack have some weird wind up that I cant time correctly. It feels like input lag on the PS5
They didn't soften the difficulty. It's an open world game and open world games can be cheesed by corpse running to uber items in much higher level zones.
It also makes it vastly easier to farm levels for the same reason. Just mount up and rush back to your runes!
Is there something I'm missing in sellia crystal tunnels somewhere or are they really trying to say I have to sneak through the tunnels every time I want to attempt fallingstar beast?
Yes, I kicked the ladder down
The beast type monsters are so annoying to deal with. They are way more aggressive than anything else. Just got to Caelid and keep feeling like I just pizza'd when I should french fried.
I'm waiting for someone to release a full summoner build because based on the little I've seen in my 16 hours with ashes, incantations, sorceries and weapon skills I bet you could make it work and make your summons practically immortal while also wrecking face
The joke writing feels very very lazy. Especially for the New Zealand "crew" that has made so many great things. It's not far off from the over the top, not funny at all character Taika played in Free Guy
This game is a lot like old Nintendo games. Not much info on anything in the game itself, open world that you can explore and find secrets or powerful upgrades if you're inclined. Character power tied more directly to items/spells you find and no experience bar to speak of.
A lot of that isnt...
Found the first boss that made me want to throw my controller. Erdtree Avatar.
Could not figure out a way to reliably dodge or block his holy lasers attack. Took me like 20 attempts to finally beat him by just doing hit and run tactics while trying to get behind the erdtree when he used that...
They timed their release poorly. It's From Software. Even if Elden Ring was a PS5 exclusive like Bloodborne was a PS4 exclusive it would have won the hype war
I can guarantee you people are going to find useful setups for most sorceries in this game after it's been out for a few months. Sorcery by itself sucks, kinda. But I can already imagine insane setups with certain weapons and ashes of war. The combos that are possible in this game seem endless...
Elden Ring doesnt really have quests. Not really. It has interactions with mysterious NPCs that give you cryptic messages or ask you for favors. Its subtle but there is actually a difference. You never feel like you have a distinct objective because you never feel like you're being ordered...
Tried firing up the interactive map on my phone since I'm playing on ps5 after I killed Godrick to see what I missed in Limgrave. Lol. Wouldn't recommend trying to use that on a phone
That's not what I was saying. I'm saying people are going to be experimenting for a long, long time and there are going to be a lot of interesting, powerful builds that people find for years to come
Thats the way its always worked. You can't roll on button press because holding circle makes you sprint. It was always button release. But there seems to be some input lag there that I never noticed before now.
So after the latest update Im suddenly getting what I assume are the frame drops other people were talking about on PS5 earlier in the thread. Even with full stamina bar sometimes there is "input lag" before the game recognizes that I actually hit Circle to roll. Its mostly fine but it really...
