Alchemists are still pretty fragile, and you will find late game that bosses have enough to survive multiple bombs, so you have to move to a more careful style. Still, for blowing the crap out of those pesky adventurer parties, antimagic patrols and orc patrols they are the reigning champs...
Breaking into a secure area in the middle of a viral outbreak, getting attacked by a mutant monkey, not telling anyone about it and then doing a monkey autopsy in the same room, in the dark, with her back to the door and headphones on ?
Sekai Sufuku - interesting, will check a few more
Space Dandy - noope
Mahou Sensou - occasional flash of interesting, but didn't really make any sense. I might check some more if it gets good reviews from others.
Nobunagun - wow, that escalated quickly ;p I'll check out a few more...
Kind of like with FF14, where everyone can be any class ?
Tank Queue: 0 seconds
Heal Queue: 4 minutes
DPS Queue: >40 minutes
The idea that heaps of people are temperamentally suited to healing or tanking but just accidentally clicked on rogue or ranger or whatever is hopelessly naive...
Although I was disappointed that the rest of the series didn't live up to Hockenberries rant at the start of Ilium - ".. I'd be just as happy now if a B52 flew over and dropped an atomic bomb on both the Greeks and the Trojans. Fuck all these heroes and the wooden chariots they rode in on"
He isn't - he gets the same credit Stan Lee gets in Marvel movies - "created by" - the writers for this season have been mark gatiss and steven thompson. He's listed as writer for the next one though, so if it sucks, then you can blame him ;p
IIRC Hyperion is deliberately mimicking the style of the Canterbury Tales, so is kind of overly wordy like that - Endymion is a bit more accessible, which is why there is kind of an odd split between people liking one or the other.
In all fairness, ruling that having children constituted patent violation in the case of EvilCorp vs Unemployed Single Mother would probably be the stupidest patent ruling that the Texas east district court has made.... but not by a lot
I was a little bit annoyed that no-one on the writing staff knew what a patent was, so evidently didn't realise how stupid their big reveal looked. It wasn't *that* bad though.
I offer a thumbs up on this one - IMO best of the roguelikes by far and well worth the $5 ;p
IIRC it's still free if you want to try it out, the steam version is the supporter version with steam achievements and a few extras thrown in to encourage support.
I thought this was pretty boring for the first half, and the second half was ok.
They talked Bale up a lot but did pretty much no demonstration of why he was a good conman, ironically Jeremy Renner was far more convincing as persuasive and charismatic ;p
On the upside, Amy Adams spent most...
It depends what you are looking for - it's greatest weakness is probably that the AI is beyond useless. It has interesting and diverse units though, all of which you can level up and buff etc - you can get some MoM like fun out of uber buffing ridiculously powerful invisible flying liches and...
The chick in the first one didn't know there were billions of daleks surrounding gallifrey at the time presumably ;p From the pre-show clip about Arcadia, it was a total sneak attack on gallifrey, which they thought was impregnable.
Was there any indication that the moment could kill all...
No, the bald guy is a war commander, timothy dalton was the president.
Not everyone on Gallifrey is a time lord, only those able to gaze into the Time Vortex and survive - that's the one that drove the master crazy.
I don't think it's covered whether non time-lords can regenerate - I'd...
I'm pretty sure John Hurt is pretty much a drop-in replacement for Eccleston, because he wasn't interested in taking part. The story works pretty well with that in mind.
I still would have liked to see more of the war to see how he got to the point of blowing everything up in despair - would...
I think I didn't make my point clearly, I meant that the barbarian characters on the show spoke german on the show when they were first introduced, i.e. that all of them speaking english was not actually true to begin with.
The slaves in spartacus speak whatever the romans speak, or they get the shit kicked out of them until they do ;p IIRC the barbarian guys all spoke german to start with.
What ? They stole the crate with the programmable DNA to make the anti-cop gas they used in the station assault. It had nothing to do with the previous one, the PTSD flashback was just triggered by a list of what other things the van had.
Fembot got seized as evidence, and they want her back...
Yeah, I just re-ran that a couple of times to try and work out what she said, without much success - it's definintely 'Be......nature' but the bit in the middle isn't clear.
Not validating that buy requests come from the person doing the buying ?
Security genius ! Think of the processing time they save by not validating their inputs.
Of course, given their most widely publicized exploit prior to this involved them not validating the item ids on stuff you were...
Apparently, yes.
New "Titanium TeflonT" coating added to broadhead product line
This new coating features all of the great properties of their original TeflonT coating: extreme heat and abrasion resistance, reduced friction, and increased penetration - but now in a more modern...
Lol, that just makes it even funnier - unpaid FEMA truck drivers showing up - ok guys, the last 16 guys to do this delivery route got murdered, but you should be fine. Escort ? No, sorry, the cops won't go into that area.
GI Joe was 4 years after his spot on who. I'm not sure the whole 'seduced by hollywood bigtime' conspiracy theory actually holds up very well.
Is it really so unimaginable that he was telling the truth, and that he'd leave because he didn't like the people he was working with ?
