They did for both divinity original sin. They have limited content(just the first town basically, in the first game iirc it was most of the first town area, for the 2nd it stopped at escaping fort joy I believe) and use that to test combat mechanics, UI ergonomy and multiplayer code(not sure if...

    Monster Hunter: World

Fire resist does reduce the damage, this is most apparent with the mantle which makes it so even if you take the whole thing you don't die(assuming you had 200hp when it started). Having 20+ fire resist base also makes it so you don't get afflicted by burns, which is helpful. Having more isn't...

They'll probably just ban anyone who has over 20m or whatever. Or well not ban them but delete the gold/delete the character depending on how they feel about it. If you duped a fair amount then spent it you'd probably be fine I highly doubt they have any sort of detailed history of the logs...

Final Fantasy XIV (Guide in first post)

I thought it was pretty straightforward/easy, I joined a learning party after watching a video a couple of times and I didn't really learn much from the wipes other than the range of the circle aoes that expand thing, rest I didn't get hit the entire reset. Then joined a clear party since P2...

Graphics also get better as your progress, because act1-2 were made like 6 or 7years ago, 3-4 like 4years ago, 5 2years ago and 6 last year or whatever, so you see a clear progression in the quality of the environements and monsters, especially with expansion acts having more money in them...

All safi weapons are basically the best options once they're released with only a handful of exceptions and even these are borderlines. Safi weapons are highly customizable and can get high raw with high sharpness and whatever ailment you want(blast tends to be the main choice for raw weapons...

    Grim Dawn

Shaman probably with wild strike or whatever it's called, lightning based stuff. Can do fire oathkeeper stuff with the expansion too though I had one like that it was pretty good(but it was kinda reliant on a 2H unique mace I got before I rolled it, was like cyclone+a bunch of procs+big 2H damage).

Baldur's Gate 3 by Larian Games

They haven't said iirc, they haven't really said much of anything other than tentaclebois. I would assume it's real time, but Divinity were turn based so they might change it? I don't know how much people would care if it wasn't rtwp or if people really liked that system. I know it was every big...

Kirin is better for DB, because you want to scale elem. Kadachi is even better because of custom mods and more augments though. Basically until Safi DB and Bow the R10 weapons tend to be better because you can put more elem augments/custom mods on them.

Ramuh's pretty boring I think, others are nice. Ruby weapon seems alright too but haven't done the EX yet, looks a bit long but not too complicated. Need to craft gear to get ilvl. On that note surprised at how easy the new crafted stuff is. I thought I'd have to fiddle a bunch with rotations...

    Monster Hunter: World

I got slapped when I did Kirin MR first time, he is fairly different than original Kirin, not like too much but the patterns are different and he does more stuff, so yeah not too surprising. After the first fail though I killed him without an issue just from learning what he was doing, he's not...

Ît actually depends, iirc some skills scale better in "ultimate levels" which is past the soft cap, and some skills scale worse(and some A LOT worse). Or well when I say better I mean better than the last few points, generally scaling goes down as you put more points(so 15 > 16 is worse than 1 >...

Acid dervish is pretty nice if you want to melee with a fairly fast char, scales well into endgame too. There's definitely a lot of good starter builds though, anything+oathkeeper or soldier tends to be pretty decent since those have great support passives/actives that'll make anything tanky...

    Grim Dawn

Veteran has a weird curve and is more something they added back in the days when the game was way shorter to make players rerolling not feel as bored in their normal playthrough. It can be rough especially if you don't do cookie cutter strong early builds(which generally involve picking specific...

If you're offline you can edit your save to put yourself in the right place again, google it and you should find how to(the saves are in plain text so it's mostly a matter of finding the name of the quest you were on before).

    Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem

Oh and as an important bug, don't use the black market in endgame. It will brick the character until they patch it(which they said should be this week but could be friday).

    Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem

Quin is also a fucking retard/acts like a retard. You can just do the test yourself, take the node, equip a 2H and check your damage, then equip a shield and check your damage. It gives a completely stupid amount of flat damage(probably is supposed to be damage %, or be 0.5x like the other nodes...

    Monster Hunter: World

In the Safi patch, Dual Blades and SnS get a buff that makes their moves that claws also apply a hit. Namely for Dual Blades it's the circle circle circle combo move(iirc) that does spinny moves and end up in a claw attack, for SnS it's the uppercut claw after a roll. When you do these atm on...

PoE NOW has 100+ppl, but back when they released, it was a small company(they had 25ppl during the open beta, which was the "soft launch"). And the released state was a lot better than this, probably because you know, they ran a beta with all the content for years before that, instead of just...

    Monster Hunter: World

Well early on you're capped, you need to increase your MR(by doing GL imo but you can do other stuff too, just since you're gonna need to do some GL might as well) to unlock more levels which unlock the good stuff. The main thing to understand about GL materials is they can all be...

    Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem

They haven't fixed the magic find stacking bug either so once you're at endgame you can stack magic find to 10k+% and do one "rift" and basically get gear to drop for 20mins and pick up what you want until you inevitably crash. Stash still have items disapearing, you can get story blocked at...

    Monster Hunter: World

Yeah it helps playing weapons you're comfortable with and for vaal at least weapons with a constant flow of attacks versus big hitters I find works better because while he's easy to read, his attacks are very strong so you do want to dodge them when you have to, but if you're like doing a SAED...

It is possible the last step is after clearing yeah, just it's also possible it's before the last step too. Guess we'll see, I don't give a shit personally since I'll probably rush the MSQ first(maybe unlock the stupid beast tribe to get it done before the reset and then MSQ). On that note, it's...

Final Fantasy XIV (Guide in first post)

Yeah that's not normal, but it seems it is this way this time based on the prelim notes. This time the raid is heavily tied to the MSQ unlike most previous raids(Bahamut was the closest but even that was like parallel events), as you've noticed if you've done the first tier already. So it's...

    Monster Hunter: World

Yeah Vaal Hazak always was a tank, has the most base health iirc(besides obviously shit like behemoth and ancient leshen which aren't scaled down for solo). Your damage issue could be gear(bad weapon, bad skills) or just not enough damage uptime, you can fairly consistently hit him once you...

PoE had new maps/monsters added like 3 or whatever years ago when they added 6 acts, and they add new skills every patch. And they're redoing the entire visuals next year, so it's not like it's stagnating. D3 on the other hand yeah. GD released an expansion last year with a bunch of new stuff...

    Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem

I've seen this on some skills, I think maybe it's meant to boost ailment if you add ailment damage to it, via added damage mods or something else, maybe. Like for example you have the passive that makes so you can apply 2 different ailments per hit, then you add say toxic damage to the skill via...

Final Fantasy XIV (Guide in first post)

Apparently the raid quest is tied to the MSQ so the world first race will start with a MSQ speedrun race. I'm not sure this world first race will be too interesting for a few reasons though, first raiding statics have almost always been hiding their progress to not get strats stolen, who's...

You could use Parasite if you want a channel, it has a god awful cast time but once it starts going it does good damage, applies poison(a damage ailment so that's nice) and it drains life so you get healed a bunch. On my summoner playthrough it did a lot of work without really much supporting...

    Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem

Well the idea behind ratings is that you need to keep investing into the stat as you lvl up to keep the same amount. Say at lvl 20 you have 70/30 split, at lvl 40 you need to be 70/30 if you want the same stats, can't just have the same amount you had at lvl 20. You also lose damage if you...

I don't think they wanted to limit Byregot, that's why they removed the other shittier byregot and left the good one, what they didn't want is people to be forced to have CRP50 to have it cause it was such an important ability. The cap was just because they had both innovation and ingenuity...

The one where he flies up then explodes? It drops a bunch of shit on the ground in a large circle, but the center of the circle(where he is) is safe and you can fight there. Or you can drag him out of the circle if the area you're fighting in is large enough, just go through and wait for him to...

Depends on weapons and shit yeah. If you play DB/Bow you definitly want to hit the right element, for others are good raw option will do fine on everything(gold rathian or royal weapons on PC). Once Safi goes live a lot of the BiS weapons are just the blast raw one, but technically against 3star...

Controls with the keyboard are a bit weird to configure but once you get around to it, it's not that bad BUT it's still kinda shit if you switch between melee weapons and ranged weapons since the way they're configured is weird. You can however make presets for keybindings to switch shit around...
