For me, one of the most memorable cliffhangers of all time is Sheridan at Zahadoom. The scene with the whitestar crashing through the dome is the very definition of epic.

I fucking loved Greatest American Hero. The pilot, by the way, is still very watchable. I never understood why no one has tried to resurrect that show. With today's special effects, it would be quite easy to do a re-imagining of the series justice.
