Yea sure Brainstorm is still great with any kind of shuffle effect, but none of it on the level of the fetchlands, or even in the same universe really.
Pretty sure Brainstorm is sacrosanct in Legacy these days, regardless of how stupidly broken it is.
That said, Brainstorm has never been the issue. Fetchlands are the issue, always will be, but they aren't ever going anywhere either.
Depends entirely on the business model, no one knows all that much about the gameplay yet.
There's potential there if the game is good given the Steam market integration for sales/trading, but if it's a casual nonsense-fest like Hearthstone I don't think it will sway many heavy MTG players.
You can't build decks in Keyforge. Each one is randomized with a tracking number for the randomized contents and you get to change 0 cards. So if you open a "good" deck and win with it, you can't use it anymore. In the 0 trading card game.
The entire game is a joke.
Keyforge also has the most retarded card distribution system ever devised by man. Game is DOA.
Garfield just wants to somehow go back to before the internet existed so he can play Ironroot Treefolk and Fountain of Youth in his thallid deck and not lose to real decks.
At 250$ each and the ability to sell as many as they print I'm sure giving the LGS a taste of their money press ruffled someone higher up the Hasbro chain.
Real hard for a company to just give away a piece of their 3m+ bump in revenue.
The big fancy promo box is an odd thing for them to make available on their website only given how hard they've been trying to give the reach around to LGS lately.
Distress + surveil 1 got leaked today, so that's at least bordering on playable. Castigate was good enough for real play in original Ravnica standard, so we'll see if trading exile for the 1 scry thingy is good enough or not.
They're off their fucking rocker with this. Notice how all their performance talk was about "RTX gains" and raytracing shit? This is the same trash 20% increment for a near double price jump.
Pls save us Intel GPUs.
Yea I agree, we're a long, long way off from someone printing any kind of reserve list card that will stand up to the scrutiny that shit gets. The tournament staples though? Gonna be real hard to trust ordering shit like forces/wastelands/dark confidants/goyfs etc in the near future.
And here we go. Jessup isn't a pro, but he's real, real close. I'd be far more inclined to think he didn't deliberately register a bunch of counterfit cards, but if someone this in to the game didn't even notice half his TCG order was fake? Yeesh....
It's not quite as cheap as you're making it out to be here. $40/month on average barely gets one you playset of whatever chase mythic is in a set these days.
I agree it's not quite as bad as people whinging on the internet make it out to be, but I really wouldn't call it cheap either. Most tier...
Those Teferi pics I posted are from the current get of standard/holostamped fakes, and they are probably good enough to just play random standard events with or whatever?
It seems like there is really only one major supplier or printer or whatever these days, and then a few outlets selling them...
Things keep going the way they are going and fakes are gonna start to get spotted cause they are too good, not enough printing issues to be a real card.
Countefit cards are getting scarily close these days. Still probably a ways off from anything passable in terms of reserve list nonsense due to the level of the scrutiny, but I don't think anyone would ever bat an eye at these during some standard GP or whatever:
Depends on where you are in the story. Generally speaking if you're within like 2-5 levels of "danger" level of an area or whatever you should be fine. There are exceptions though, as most any monsters with large AE magic attacks will facerape almost any party and need to be bursted down...
That's not a terrible offer for just a mass cash buy. A bit better than you'd do cash buylisting it to most stores, but it's still like 70-75% of total value if you were to piecemeal it out which isn't surprising given that the dude is probably looking to flip it via his TCG or eBay store etc...
1400 Evee candy this weekend, 22 shinies in total, none of them really viable for any real use.
Did wind up with a pair of 100% normal Evee though which is nice to make some Tamao with to make up for my lack of Tyranitars.
Caught 250 yesterday for 11 shinies. No shinies over 80% unfortunately. Did get a 100% and a 98% normal which is sorta nice, can make a tamao or something out of them since I don't have any tyranitars to use.
The whole "official Discord partner" and whatever label is kind of nebulous and varies a ton from game to game. They do police those so you can't just do whatever you want if you want to be affiliated with whatever game or community.
No one gives a fuck what you do in your private servers...
They didn't ban a channel for posting lewds, it got stripped of the title of being the "official" ff14 Discord server. There's a big fucking difference. The entire place still exists, it just isn't officially affiliated with FF14 anymore.
Steam would ban the fuck out of you for trying to make a...
I have no fucking idea what I'm doing in this game so I'm just randomly stabbing every dinosaur I see?
So far only weapon I'm really feeling is the buster sword. It's so hilariously clunky but my god the damage it does is just insane.
Good. Steam has been sitting on their thumbs for years because they've never really had any direct competition. The place has mostly devolved in to endless shitpiles of shovelware and anime titty games, with all the major publishers jumping ship to their own launchers because steam still demands...
Since no one else has mentioned it, that playmat in your pic is actually worth a fair chunk of change as well. Looks like a world championship mat? If it's in as good of condition as it looks there is a market for those old accessories, and some of the prices can be nutty.
With BF5/CoD25 looming with battle royal modes I'm sure they scrambling at this point.
I'll believe any of it when I see it, but this is the first time they've ever really addressed the tick rate of the servers so that's something at least.
