Who, Kate? You do realize she was lead localization starting in Shadowbringers? Localization has had input in the story, but the main writers are in Japan. Ishikawa not taking lead story in Dawntrail and letting the other writers run loose has more to do with Dawntrail's story woes. The 7.2...

The rovers that have testing facilities on board are usually very specialized and also limited. So for example on this rover, it can analyze the composition of a material and take microscopic images of some samples. However, it isn't as powerful as machines on Earth.

It's fun to play - like Zindan said, the "endgame" is usually just a +gooderer grind. It can be fun to build into some OP build and the various events and new player bonuses they give make it pretty viable to unlock enough slots to build a powerful gun or character As for unlocking characters...

This isn't from the moon or an asteroid, it's from Mars. While Mars does have lower gravity than Earth and the atmosphere is thinner, it's not insignificant (it's something like 38% gravity and the atmosphere will still offer resistance to any launch). You would a) have to fly the thing to...

I mean it was a complex mission. It would have to land, retrieve the samples, launch back into space, then reach Earth. We haven’t done that with a planet before

Part of the issue also is they also listen a lot to the Japanese playerbase, who have their own quirk and which can have knock-on effects. One common complaint in Japan was rotation complexity, mostly because it is a pain in the ass on a controller since consoles are probably the biggest...

If you're still unlocking crap, difficulty 7 isn't that bad. You get the benefit of more rewards but it is still completely doable even if you're still unlocking all the base stuff. Recoilless rifle (the shoulder mounted RPG thing with an ammo backpack) is probably one of the most versatile...

Some of the changes are interesting. The change to thopter missiles - no more trick shots, but they're faster now. It also means gaining altitude to avoid getting shot will be much more viable, as scouts can't maintain speed, leaving only assaults with boosters as a threat.
