Being able to 'give' camps away to buddies instead of camps going to the guy who got there second and sat his character in the room for many hours waiting for the first guy to leave was a ridiculous policy and was entirely to blame for that nonsense.

Not sure. I wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't a warning, because I recall Uthgaard doing a broadcast telling everybody about the bannings, and that everybody should know that targeted AoEs should hit a limited number of targets. (really, anybody who played a wizard on live should know)

The exploit they used was that Wizard snare was hitting unlimited targets, so they had a wizard spam that to keep aggro while they meleed with PBAoE weapons. I maintain that bard songs are aggroing way too much on p99 but it's not nearly so easily proven and not really as much of an exploit.

Actually most (not all) Luclin bosses have even lower combat regen than Velious ones-- almost non-existent regen. At least on Live right now. It was so low I couldn't accurately measure it because the health bar wouldn't update even after a couple of hours.

To clarify, what I meant by p99's hacks are the things like removing target rings, changing con colors, removing maps, and the like. i.e. making it more classic. Also their client monitoring.

Guess my brain sort of assumed you meant unrest from all the posts about it, but unrest can take people up to level 40 or so. A group would probably run out of mobs in the upper 30s though; the basement was prime solo magician hunting grounds in the late 30s. The first evac is of course level 29.
