I have an alternative(PoE), it certainly makes a conscious difference. If this game was the only way to get modernish D2 gameplay, these issues would likely be overlooked.
Keeping content in the game is at least part of the reason why the game's performance sucks. It's also why the game is so daunting to new players.

Stealer of Souls + Plot Twist + Violet Illusionist. It's not an OTK combo but it is a ton of tempo. Add Mecha'Thun and Cataclysm after tearing through your deck.

Exsanguinate was a pretty fun skill but dangerous in terms of mechanics power creep. I don't believe we have another skill that can chain and high amount of parallel hits. Tornado Shot maybe? And it got nerfed for kinda the same reason.

Speaking of programmers...who designed the Cruelty support gem? Ailment threshold calculations are not intuitive but are kinda sorta ok because they are generally "bonus" damage. You don't really need to know how much you're shocking and chilling.

I've been enjoying Corrupting Fever KB gladiator. All aspects except the single target dps is top tier. That really only comes into play when doing the Feared, every other boss encounter is more forgiving on the dps. Anyone done the Feared on a Corrupting Fever build?

Interesting concept. Ailment reflection is probably getting nerfed next league even though every build I've seen has paper defenses.
Would love to try an all rounder Fire Burst or Self Chill before they get nerfed, but zoomy bois that fall over to gusts of wind are not fun.

Anyone know if it's possible to macro oos and tempest shield? Oos, even with awakened chain, doesn't clear reliably to the point where I can easily tell whether a pack will require a couple pumps of tempest shield or not.
So, my solution is to hopefully macro it. The cast time on tempest...
Divine Guidance is much more useful than 5% more spell damage and 5% increased cast speed. You should be using your movement skill enough to keep it it up regardless.
