I seemed to remember it being type 3 haste, but I'm likely wrong about that. So you're just hitting the haste cap (which can only be broken by overhaste aka type 3)

He's Mr. Glass - sad to see his potential go, but very glad the Rams did try to keep him around to get 15 games out of him through 5 seasons.
