Yeah 20-25 might be typical depending on group comp, pot usage etc. Chardok is the place to do it, with 2 or 3 charm pets. Ideally you want a Chanter, but Necro's are also very stronk here with the undead pets. Druids can charm the doges, even before the recent patch, but those can be annoying...

TSS is actually a pretty cool expac to level from 1-75 in, there's a mostly linear path to follow, lots of quests to do to gear up along the way. It also introduces the Emo Drakkin race.

If you are looking for a good guild on Yelinak I'd check out Victorem. They were the bridesmaids on previous TLPs due to going up against Bloodthirst and That's EQ Baby, but there are no guilds of that caliber on Yelinak so this could be their time to shine.

I think these people have always existed in large quantities, but you rarely encountered them prior to the internet.

Do the Vaniki players have any plans or intentions of going back and doing the older challenges? If somebody rolled up there today would they be shit out of luck on the previous rewards? Also is the experience rate higher than Yelinak?

In kunark shaman get Bane of nife, it's horribly inefficient but it will outcompete Ebolt, In Velious (if they raid, or pay $$ for loot rights) they get Ancient Scourge which is an absolute beast of a dot. Also, any SKs that want a free Circlet of Shadow instead of paying the necro shitlords...

I see plenty of the usual sweaty autists on Yelinak, they are just dispersed across multiple guilds because no real sweaty autist leader is here running a guild, which is probably a first on a standard classic start TLP.

Was probably more a reaction to the "I'm gonna dkp dump and then leave the guild." type comments. Most guilds would do that, Unless it's a Mabbu guild in which case DKP dumping then hitting the tunnel is a feature not a bug.

The formula that seems to work is one "regular" TLP plus one experimental ruleset server. Aka Mangler and Selo, now Yelinak and Vaniki, lets em try something out while the players that just want a classic experience get a normal server.

Yeah the house of thule pack as already linked is great, 40 bucks one off but you get effectively infinite claims of 2 bags and 2 mounts that can be used any server. Got it on Aradune, still claiming the stuff on every char on Yelinak.

ooc regen bascially gets you to full health and mana (not sure about endurance) in about 3 minutes max regardless of how low it was, doesn't start till out of combat obviously, 30 seconds for normal mob kill, 5 mins for raid mob kill

Both those classes would be able to get groups in Paw to catch up. May have better luck actually going there (arena stone) and oocing from zone in, people always looking for pullers and rep healers.
