I'm glad that big jebait happened because it got the late shift guys (Cletus, Burke, Bike, Cream etc) to play Empyrion. One of my fave games with super cool building. Cletus is super hooked, and watching them stumble was hilarious. They are supposed to get in to Atlas today though, but we'll see.

When it first came out it had some odd limitations, like shared money pool, but it was a lot of fun. I'm not sure if some of the annoyances have been fixed or modded away, haven't played in a long time.

Played some tonight, really forgot how bad the 1v1 combat is. I empty an entire clip into someone and they turn around and fire a tiny quarter second burst and I fall over. In the "who got you" screen they have no damage to shields or health. In a big battle you don't really notice that much...

I feel it is my duty to report the mission farmers. Every game I get in my team is me and 2 guys that just spin in place. Probably have a string tied to the analogs to keep from de-idling. I can either stop in game and report them, probably getting shot by the people that inevitably come over...

I kept running into this same guy repeatedly. He had a shotgun so I'd find him at long range. I've gotten pretty good at the headshot thing. Every fight I shot him at least 3 or 4 times, and 3 of those fights at least one headshot. He never died, he'd just wiggle in close and shoot me once...

Also alot of players, when you lock onto them with the gimpy console lock, it locks to the side of them.

So multiplayer... I make a character, and I'm riding around listening to people yap and then there's a little shoot people camp, a treasure map, and then it dead ends. I ride off in a random direction and get some kind of countdown then it says I failed the mission. What mission!? Nothing on...
