Have they followed up with any more information regarding the ladder system? I'm curious as to how they're going to appeal to the masses to restart when the ladder starts. Diablo 2 had ladder specific runewords and what not but I can't really see what they would put into D3 in terms of that..

That is an incredibly lazy way of doing it. If anything the value of souls per kill should diminish over a series of 15 kills and level out at like.. 25% of the original amount or something. This is a double edged sword, as it prevents soul farming.. it also prevents weapon/armor/item farming...

Yeah, glacial spike + frozen orb meteor, force weapon, spark flint familiar, crit armor arcane dynamo + 2 other passives should rock *with +AP on crit etc

Very similar to the console version, its the same smart loot system that 90% caters to your class. -- I need to look into how to build my monk now, seems like sweeping winds with cyclone proc rate was nerfed. And bell damage was nerfed by ~50% Also CM wizards were stupid, I'm glad thats gone.

I wouldn't keep your hopes up for a console patch.. it's already has its own account wide paragon system and Loot 1.5. They would just release RoS as a whole on it and leave it at that if anything. Which as far as i know doesn't have a release date or announcement outside of the PS4 version.

I don't really disagree there, it was more so your generalization of animation cancelling as a whole and TERA example you used. Either way, they do a great job in dark souls in terms of animations I find. They're obviously not perfect but they match the game style very well.

How can you say this without hating literally 99% of any game with a "combat engine". There is an infinite amount of things that require animation cancelling in gaming or you know.. you can enjoy your games where you have to physically stop your running animation before you can attack a foe...
