This is especially true at higher levels where you need great / master balls to catch stuff. If you're not around a dense pokestop area you'll run out of balls very quickly.

yeah this is inevitable and was done as soon as the game came out. Here's to hoping they aggressively ban cheaters. This game would be extremely easy to bot, and someone running a bot would become godly.

Yeah I did the same thing wrt gyms which are the only way to earn pokebucks. The theory crafting I did is that you have to get your group of people, then blitz through as many gyms as you can in a circuit then collect the rewards. Maybe you can peak at ~5 gyms before you run out of gyms...

Good luck holding multiple gyms for any length of time. Even if you were in the top 0.01% of pokemon players and put a hard pipe hittin' pokey in the gym it'll be rolled over by the next group of people coming your way. The gym heavily favors attackers by letting attackers 6v1 for level 1...

This is the second game I've played and the first, Fallout shelter, I eventually just instaled on my PC through an emulator. While this is silly to say, the mechanics of playing PoGo on a mobile device are much superior than trying with a laptop or PC.

I don't think people have really started to get salty about it (except for Derek Smart). Cynics are just stepping up to hopefuls. I'm with you. They're making progress and have a steady income of people buying fake ships for an unreleased game. We'll see how it is in 2018 or 2019.
