Because my first reaction is to be pissed, and I still think it's fucking stupid regardless. But even in my first response I mention all the toys. I have more ports than a mage on my paladin, and all it takes is a tiny amount of gold or some very easy grinding to achieve all of them.

Dalaran is terrible, and has been terrible since like 7.1 for some reason. IIRC we all complained about it after that patch, still unsure what they did. There was some cvar or some shit that allowed you to load before everything else in dalaran loads and that helped a lot at least.
