Question regarding ladders cause I never done one in Diablo. So a ladder is a race to the top with while attempting to gain the best gear? Once the ladder is over do you lose your character or you keep it? Do you gain any special items or just bragging rights that you ranked high in the ladder?

Forgot about the ladder reset. But definitely playing a crusader especially if I can use a hammerdin build.

Anyone plan on playing the crusader at launch? Been thinking about stocking up on gear for every 10 levels to help the leveling process go by faster.

Our guild's first Cazic Thule kill which took us 8 hours due to respawns. We spent all night clearing it but we were able to kill him and he dropped two Blood Fires.

With loot 2.0 the gear is supposed to be tailored to the class. A monk shouldn't be getting int or str gear drops. That's how it's in the console version. Plus loot drops like crazy. As long I'm getting good drops that can be used as upgrades trading won't be that needed unless I want to twink...

People are pricing beta keys up to $250.00. They are getting several keys. Really wish they were tied to your b-net account. I really want this beta badly.

Seems like all the well known/lesser known streamers and youtubers are sure in for the beta.

Is there a website that shows you what items that are dropped in dungeons and boss mobs? Like a WoWhead for FFXIV? I started doing dungeons and would like to know which ones I should try for.

Yesterday was my real first day of playing this game. I was able to make a character on Gilgamesh. I played my bard to level 15 without getting kicked out the game. By the way talk about a fun class. Really loving the game. It's the most beautiful MMO I ever played.

That's the same impression I got when I first entered Gridania with my bard. Holy shit look at all the people around here, this city is full of life. This is the first game in a long time that gave me the old EQ/vanilla WoW feeling.

For those who may have gotten some playtime in this weekend, how are warriors and how are they compared to paladins?

I picked a low population server and it's telling me its full. Now the server list is not showing up.......

Great.... the maurader newbie quest "Axe in the stone" broken. My character got stuck trying to do the quest. I forced closed the game, logged back in and now I can't see the server list.

I'm torn between a paladin and a warrior. Here is a video giving a good example why it is better for a warrior to spend points into strength. Apparently warriors got buffed out the ass. A lot of the warrior's self healing abilities is based off damage. So more strength is more damage meaning...

So a warrior can only be a tank in this game and not a true dps class?

I was able to finally get my code through and register for early access. Just keep trying and sooner or later you will get through.

Prepaid Walmart card guys. That's all I use when I have to pay for any online gaming service. I only put enough money on it to pay the monthly subscription. If my account gets hacked it's no big loss.
