I haven't been playing much lately but I've been messing about with super high resolutions and downsampling and dang. I already knew this game was beautiful but I never really pay attention to any of the scenery. Having a computer that can run this game past 15 fps on medium is awesome.

Been experimenting with 4k downsampling to 1080p and the results are getting pretty awesome. These are only slightly color corrected + a blur on the GLaDOS picture. Everything else is the game at ulta settings at 4k resolution. first 3 are Bioshock Infinite, last is Portal 2

I like the short snowy area they've shown us, but I really loooooove that jungle concept art and the trees they've shown in game for them. I think I'm gonna have to find me some place to make ruins deep in the jungle.

My friends are all interested and we all still talk about Vanilla WoW with rose tinted shades on, so yeah I say that. I find combat in WoW to be boring nowadays though, not that "Oh raids are easier" bullshit, I just genuinely am bored of any MMO playing the game of sit and cast.

Even though it reminds me completely of Cubeworld and seems they didn't really do anything different other than having the ability to build, I'm interested in this game because I doubt they'll have 8 month silent periods where they say absolutely nothing. Can't wait to see what it evolves into...

I mean, you can't really blame them if the players decide to sign the contract, but if none of them sign it, it'll change pretty quick. Hopefully that happens. This is a different realm of things, it doesn't need to be ran like a real sport to be successful.
