Normal Momir has far more interesting combat since creatures have much more variety in stats. That said these games were definitely fast because usually one side gets a dominating board state real fast. Took 9 games for me to get my 5 wins and literally none of them had interesting combat.

This format is even more random than momir which is kind of hilarious.

I mean it's a troll event and nobody expects it to be anything but extremely high variance. Anything involving tokens or card draw etc is just wildly silly. It's pretty amusing and getting the cosmetic stuff is kind of cool, but I can't imagine anyone takes the format seriously.

I mean for Rodgers to match Brady's TD/Int ratio he'd have to throw 36 interceptions before he threw another TD. Or for Brady to achieve the same ratio as Rodgers he'd only need to throw 231 more TDs without throwing an INT and Brady is 3rd on the all time list. It's actually an absurd stat.

He's better than Stafford and Eli. Romo didn't have the longevity to get in. There's a line somewhere, I just think Rivers is probably just over it. There's plenty of dudes in the HoF that were real good but never the best at their position for a single season. Longevity matters.

Except that's never been what it is. And being a B+ player for 15 years is a thing. That makes it more like an A- career. He's better than many players that are in the HoF and it's still not nearly as bad as the Basketball HoF. Joe Dumars is in that one.
