According to GeForce Experience it is 364.72 which was the game ready driver for Dark Soul III. It came out at the end of March and I only grabbed it b/c of Paragon optimizations but guess it works out either way.

The first thing I rebound on the steam controller was using that to lock on. I just put lock on to the back right pad and use X like normal for items. You can also disable that contextual menu from popping up if you want to keep the pad to lock on.

It's just while it is getting started unpacking. Takes about 5 min on my SSD to unlock.

Hopefully DS3 plays better with the Steam Controller than Mad Max. Tomb Raider was fine but for whatever reason in MM if you had the right pad set to mouse you couldn't run and move the camera at the same time. Had to set it to Joystick with some other tweaks and it never really felt right.
