Baldur's Gate 3 by Larian Games

New EA patch. Added the Sorcerer and a new location to act 1. They are committed to adding all 12 core classes, so still need Barb, Bard, Pal, and Monk. Sounds like they will be lucky to get a full release out in 2022. Patch overview...

    Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous

Summons and touch attacks are the standard tactic for all the "skippable" extreme bosses. Lots and lots of summons. I had my melee guys just sit in a corner with bows equiped (wiffing every shot, but out of danger...mostly) while my main guy nuked with the Angel spell that hits everything...

    Funny, Strange, Random Pics

Currently not enough evidence to support such claim, but looking for archaeological evidence so far back in time is like looking for a needle in the ocean. So far all humans in the ancient Americas are classified as the Clovis people, and said to be closely related to modern first nation...

    Old Henry (2021)

Watched this last night and agree with everyone so far. It was pretty good and casting was spot on. I would say it's the best movie of 2021, but its the only movie from 2021 I have seen... It's a mix of the old Drama Westerns and Action movies. While trying to think of similar movies, the best...

    Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous

You can do a second line (reach) melee Cleric Crusader or Battle Oracle using a Longspear, Glave, or Fauchard. It is how I started and good for the early game. Eventually though, I was casting the whole time because Angel nukes with a bunch of extra caster levels are that good. If you go...

Pillars of Eternity, Obsidian's new CRPG in the vein of Baldur's Gate

Ultima games are weird, I loved Ultima 7 and 7.2 as a kid (even thought 8 was decent), but when I tried to go back and replay them, I found it too simple, and lost interest about half way. It may be due to still remembering 70%+ of the world and story, and the most enjoyable part of those games...

Pillars of Eternity, Obsidian's new CRPG in the vein of Baldur's Gate

For BG 1 & 2, you can use a mod to make them into one single mega game using the BG2 engine and UI. Unless you are a purist and want to experience each one as they were, I think you gain more than you lose. This installer program makes merging the two Enhanced Editions a breeze, just ignore...

Rings of Power: Tolkien's Shambling Skinsuit

Does Tolkien say that the hobbits are all one skin color, or is it just the movies? If it is from Tolkien, that would mean, to keep it lore friendly, the hobbits had a spat of ethnic cleansing in the second age, leading to all white Hobbitszs in the Third.

Wish I could understand what they were saying, but it still shows the device, and the thieves putting it to use. That looks like a professional OBD II tool and it looks like that car they broke into had two OBD ports, or there are two similar ports right next to each other. Every car I have...

    What vehicle do you drive?

Car thieves in England use a device to unlock and start keyless entry Mitsubishi Outlanders. Have read rumors of these devices for 10+ years now, but never seen any proof of them actually working. One theory on a more universal unlocker, 6+ years ago, was that it could find the cars keyfob...

So they could go on Twitter/Tumblr/Polygon to tell everyone they went and how much they suffered through such a horrible person's show. I also wouldn't be surprised if they were hired as some kind of "critic" for a major website like NYT. Those seats weren't cheap.

I thought this special, while not as good as the others, was still decent enough to be in the same ball park. Dave defiantly hides behind his race card so he can take swings at the newly minted, and more important to the left coasts, Tranny card. This special seemed to focus on hitting back...

The End of Days - Ours. Planning for the Last Raid Boss

Of course it isn't your responsibility to make some ones job better, I never claimed it was. Making a persons job easier, when you have the ability to easily do so, is a courtesy. Generally uncourteous (rude) people are also called assholes. If you want to be an asshole, own it. In some...

    Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous

You cant keep the haste spell up up 24/7 unless you are a ~level 16+ lich on top of a pure arcane caster (Wizard, Sorc, Arcanist). That caster would also need extended spell meta on the haste spell and the mythic spell feats that make 5+ min spells last 24h. A worse option is that there are a...

    Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous

Divine Beast Hunter is now the best Inquisitor. A 3 dip into it, on a pet class, gives shared teamwork with pet, and a +1 to attack rolls for the hunter and pet (Justice Judgement)(in Kingmaker, most pet builds would 3 dip inquisitor for the teamwork).

There are caster staves that increase your caster level or otherwise buff spells that will be better to use. I think you start getting them in chapter 2. To defend against arrows, you should self buff your caster with arcane armor, shield, mirror image, etc., at all times.

Gold dragon looked like it was really good for a melee character (especially trickster with it's hidden feats), but not so much for a caster. I guess that was one of the bugs I hit, but I don't remember exactly what happened. All I can recall is that I was not given the option to choose Gold...

Multiclassing casters is usually not worth it, outside of some specific cases. You give up too much to to do it. Mystic Thurg is 3 levels behind in its first class and way behind in the second, which means you get new spell levels slower when the power of spells ramps up exponentially. Pure...
