Finally got around to watching episode 2... the 20th seems so far away now. Very smart of them to not only release the first episode to everyone but to release this second episode ahead of time to build word of mouth before the deluge.

I keep wondering what it would have been like had the Wonder Woman TV series moved ahead. Given that Astrodude looked the same in the news clippings that Fitz found on him as he did when Gemma interacted with him I am starting to think he is a delusion / not human.

I do like the team aspect of these games which reward synergistic opportunities. Two people who can't eagle-eye a sniper shot across the map can nevertheless make significant contributions as meaningful support to enhance the guy who can.

From a suspension of disbelief standpoint it makes more sense for a player to be locked into a particular character or for that character to only exist once on any given map. A variation on that theme is only once per team. Then again Team Fortress 2 seems to work well with no such limits.

Pure skill based shooters have a role to play, but that doesn't mean that every shooter needs to just be a bunch of near identical peeps running around with the same weapon bouncing around like they are crickets on crack. Games like this just aren't for that same audience.

You just have to get through the queue. Problem is that they give almost no indication that you are in a queue. You will know you are out when you see a level beneath your login name.

I'm enjoying this. Did a single player Story Mission before they disabled them and had a blast. (I had tried multi-player first but we got bugged when a door wouldn't open). The Story Mission felt like doing a Borderlands dungeon merged with a MOBA for levelling purposes. I'm eager to try some...

I actually enjoyed TF2 and I'm a person who doesn't normally like multiplayer PVP shooters. I have a feeling that something like this might be right up my alley and I enjoyed what I saw at PAX so I am eager to give it a whirl.

The version of Overwatch at PAXEast 6+ months ago was at least as feature intensive as the Star Wars Battlefront that comes out in a month, so I would say they are certainly past the alpha stage with Overwatch.
