Try out normal Sword & Shield, it is more fluid and active. If you find a weapon to be unsatisfying, try another one... its all about finding one that feels right. Could also watch a few videos by Arekkz for some tips. Or just play Bow, practice Dashing around and firing pointblank into the mobs...

The Tranq from your previous attempt was still on Barroth, but it will not do anything to a mob unless it is trapped (shock/pit).

I will say Ancient Forest is going to be shitty once I start fighting Rath / Kushala. I doubt I am capping at 60, but there is a biiig difference between setting the game to 30 vs. 60. Is there a way to actually get a fps reading while playing ingame?

I have 16g of ram. Frames drop a bit when I'm in the middle of Ancient Forest, but I'd say even then its above 30fps by a fair bit. Only thing that bothers me a bit is the amount of jaggies, not sure which AA option is better; TAA or FXAA, but those are the only two showing up.

Game feels like it is running at 60 for me (3570k / 970): Biggest hits to my fps were LOD Bias / Dynamic Range 64 / Anisotropic Filtering High.

Combat is great, but you'll have to get used to it as people have mentioned here, but since you played Tera, you're already familar with animation locks / recovery, so I think you'll do just fine here.

Hm, only thing I've noticed is that your group for an Invasion will not automatically convert to a Raid if more people apply, since once you have 5 people in the group, it will delist it. You have manually create the Raid by inviting whoever else might be inside the Invasion with you.

I'm not seeing what you're all talking about with Group Finder? I go to Premade Groups, click Find Party and there are a ton of groups to pick.

I like Asmon and Towellie, but from what I've noticed from watching them both, Towellie will ask his viewers to help -him- get stuff, while Asmon will typically help his viewers. I haven't watched either for long enough to say this is a consistent attribute of either, but that is what I've seen.

Well, here is something odd. At lvl48 quests in STV were giving 10-11k xp, but when I got sent to Dire Maul in the Dungeon Finder, the quests there were only giving 5.5k (mobs were scaled up properly though).

With what Sylvanas has now done, I wouldn't be surprised if her sisters decided to stop her... somehow.

With the zone scaling, I would think the quest xp would just be based on your level, rather than the zone you're in (within the lvl range for that zone). So if Outlands and Northrend are both 60-80 zones, their quests should give the exact same xp based on your lvl. Right?
