The music in Automata is amazing, same composer and I believe it has the same vocalists as in the original Nier.

The ending sequences were pretty epic, a couple things I didn't care for: Other than those, the game was impressive.

I haven't normally played RPG's like this, so my amazement at how good it is may be misplaced, but damn. I would give it GOTY simply for making the ending credits a game in itself. If you can though, play the original Nier first, it will make the Story a lot more impactful.

Hm, understandable I guess. He rushed through the game a bit, depends on playstyle though. Been watching Admiral Bahroo on his playthrough, he's at about 70hrs (he is going for 100% quest completion though) on Ch3. This is pretty awesome game.

Odd review, he never actually finished the game, and probably never read the message after the credits saying "Hey! The game isn't over, continue on to find out what is happening!".

There seems to be a bug with the Self-Destruct option, if you use it on the Moon, you die and get an Ending; but if you use it out in the world (while not in combat) you don't die....but 2B's skirt disappears, so you get to see her...

Everything I've read via reviews, and the spoiler posted here earlier just make it obvious that the story for this game was written to showcase that white men are evil, which is just so generic that is disappointing. Having a female protagonist has nothing to do with it all.

Disappointed they went with the "white men = bad, womyn = awesome"...and it seems really obvious. Most reviews I've read/watched all play up the the combat / how the world looks and the premise of the story. So I'll wait til its super cheap if I buy it all. Went and pre-ordered Nier instead.

They are pretty good practice, try to bait them into attacking you while you can easily dodge, then punish them. Be patient.

I had to stop watching Lirik play that area yesterday, he kept falling into the water.... so many times, before getting to the boss. Felt bad for him, lol. That area is pretty awesome though, if a bit annoying.

Watching various streamers really shows the skill ceiling in this game is fairly high, and that it is both easier and harder than DS/ BB. Its harder than DS/BB if you don't untilize the moveset(s) for your preferred weapon, but it seems easier if you can make best use of the movesets. An example...

Been watching a streamer named " TrU3Ta1ent " and he's really, really good at playing the Nobushi, plus he has a really good understanding of the game mechanics. Its pretty amazing.

I don't understand the mentality behind complaining about getting ganked in a 2v2 match, and wanting only to 1v1 during those matches. I'm watching CoH right now, and man is he acting like a little bitch if the other team gangs up. Maybe they should play as a Team?
