Guessing the game is fun in the same way this forum is even though the community isn't a straight up 10.

Some people, including me, enjoy gamebreaking bugs and exploits. That feeling of doing something that you aren't intended to do is pretty nice I guess. Kenshi is a good example of this also. I enjoyed botting D3, while I hardly cared about playing it myself.

I've managed to edit values to attain the goals I had in mind. At least the M&B files aren't encrypted. Editing a file like the one you showed is np to me, and I've never written a line of code, opening an encrypted file is something else.

Ok so I have a core crew that has a hastega and a meteor caster, all near or at 50. The melee one-shot stuff at difficulty 42ish still. What should I do next to get xp? Should I even get xp? Advice would be appreciated a lot, I find a lot of info on the game but not what I want to know...

NPCs forming a blob like that is a bit special. Knowing the M&B engine, there is no way you could be in that blob and swing a weapon, you'd just hit one of the guys around you before your strike is even halfway .. Doesn't inspire confidence.
