My biggest issue with the Gruden hire was always his long gap in coaching and whether he was going to be fully invested or not. He was obviously fine when he coached back in the day.
I mean I doubt she's morbidly obese or anything, but being a fatty is pretty normalized now since nearly half the adult population is obese at this point.
One of the appealing things about this show is that it's relatively small scale and self contained. I do have some concerns that them ramping it up and connecting it to the other stuff could make it lose some of that.
Clone Wars has a good bit of filler episodes, but the main story is really good. Rebels is more consistent but peak Clone Wars is better than anything in Rebels. Both shows are much, much better than the Prequels/Sequels.
In general not having an overarching connection between the movies hurts them on the macro level. On the individual movie level they mostly took themselves too seriously and didn't really embrace being silly comic book movies the way the MCU did. I don't just mean the jokes and stuff, just the...
I mean it's possible, but it's also possible he can pull a Simmons and just never be a shooter. He also plays basically no defense which is an issue. Not saying he'll end up being dogshit, but he's the lowest floor/highest ceiling guy of those early picks.
Ball has probably the highest upside of the early picks, but he's got some real basic things he has to work on and the Hornets don't exactly have a history of developing dudes. That's not a promising combination.
Harden is a better defender than people credit him for. He was 38th in the league in defensive winshares and was 2nd in the league in points per possession as primary defender. Of course you can massage stats however you want but he's at least now a credible defender.
Yeah obviously KD not really being recovered from his injury is bad. I'm just talking about Harden fitting in fine with what KD does but that there's way too much overlap with Kyrie.
yeah, get those 2 WR and maybe get a small upgrade to their D Line like Donald and maybe get a decent TE like Kittle or Kelce. Shit would be easy then.
I mean part of his massive usage rate was just the offense he was in. KD can play off the ball primarily just fine. The big issue with Brooklyn is how much of what he does overlaps with Kyrie.
