This is incorrect as far as PCs go. I watch stuff from Amazon in HD on my laptop while at work. The selection isn't as good as Netflix, but Prime is worth it for all the other stuff you get with it.

As wolfen posted, the T-Mobile plan might be better if you don't talk much, as Straight Talk only sells T-Mobile sims now. I got an AT&T sim before they stopped selling them, since T-Mobile is terrible where I live. I've had no complaints with them and the only thing you pay beyond the plan...

I went with a 16GB N4, as 8GB is just too little storage for me. Otherwise, it's a fantastic phone with lots of developer support for those interested in custom roms. As far as Sprint goes, I had been a Sprint customer for over 10 years before I left them in Feb. I had checked my contract...

    EBook Readers

I wouldn't describe it as flaky, it's just that it is a bit sensitive and I sometimes accidentally turn the page. As far as using it left handed, there is no way to change the area you tap on to turn the page, but you can swipe to left or right in any area to turn page,.

    EBook Readers

The paperwhite was the first e-reader I've owned and it's fantastic. E-ink is so much easier on the eyes than a LCD, especially when I've got the lights off reading in bed. The only complaint I have is that I'd prefer page turn buttons, but it's not a big deal.

They just stopped selling AT&T sims, but if you can find one you can still use it. I bought one before Walmart ran out of stock a few months ago. It looks like Net10 still sells AT&T sims, and as they're run by TracFone I imagine they shouldn't be much different than Straight Talk.

I would definitely suggest the 16GB N4 over the 8GB. Ever since I uploaded all my music to Google I haven't touched my old 60GB ipod. I keep what I listen to most often on the N4 then stream the rest. The N4 works nicely with Straight Talk, but they only use T-Mobile now. I managed to get an...

Yep, I know about nav bar 0%. It's hard to go more than a page or two in the PA thread on XDA without having someone ask about it. I've gotten some odd app behavior when using nav bar 0% that hasn't come up in full PIE mode. It's probably about time I did a full wipe after the last few months...

    PC Controllers and Peripherals

You don't need an adapter for the PS3 controller, just a standard USB to miniUSB B cable and theMotioninJoywindows drivers. With that you can make your PC think the controller is a standard 360 controller.

I would go with SwiftKey over swype. They added a swype like feature to it and it's prediction is spooky good. I have no experience with Safari so I can't compare it to the various android browsers. I use Chrome, but the default browser is decent, plus Dolphin HD and Firefox were good last...

I see it still has the silly physical home button. A coworker just got a S3 a few weeks ago and asked me to help him setting some stuff up and that button pisses me off to no end. Having the software buttons has spoiled me I'm sure, but at least make the goddamn thing a capacitive button. A...

So my phone's notification light had been flashing for a while due to low battery, and when I am about to charge it I realize it's been over a day. I check my battery stats and am greeted by this: Granted, this was fairly light use, mostly texting, email and web browsing, but I'm pretty...

Hah, that question is asked every 5-10 posts in the XDA thread. Molesarecoming (the dev) doesn't like cluttering up the settings, so pie just enables itself when it's needed: when the nav bar isn't being shown. The only times that happens is as Dauntless said, when expanded desktop is enabled...

Dashclock is a great. Lots of extensions being made for it since it's open source. Being able to change it's DPI with Paranoid Android is is a godsend though, since it takes up too much space to display more than 1 or 2 extensions. I've got it running at 220 DPI on both the lockscreen and...

Am I correct in assuming you rooted the phone but did not flash a custom rom? If that's the case I would highly suggest trying a 4.2.2 based rom, as 4.2.2 fixed several nagging issues and improved battery life for most phones. I don't know what good roms are out there for the EVO LTE, but...

I'm in the process of replacing my Galaxy Nexus with a Nexus 4. The phone arrived yesterday, I'm just waiting for my Straight Talk sim to get here. I can easily justify it because this will reduce my monthly bill from $70 to $45, so the phone will pay for itself by the end of the year. Plus...
