Had forgotten about this remake until this thread was bumped. With this cast I would think that I would have seen it at the theater but that wasn't the case. It's not awful, but it's also not particularly good, which is unfortunate given how good the cast is.

Rush was an excellent movie and I don't give 2 shits about F1. That's not to say that the Solo movie isn't going to be shitty, because there's a a pretty good chance it will, but Howard is at least credible.

Movie was quite good and I'm generally in the Nolan is overrated camp. I find most of his movies to be nice visually but mostly pretty average to above average otherwise. Possible I'm just a sucker for decent war movies though.

The Canto Blight thing was so bad. I mean I get the idea of wanting to show that going off and doing something on your own can lead to consequences and all that, but I really wish they would have tried to show that in a way that wasn't so fucking awful to watch.
