Late game dragon knights do a ton of damage. Literally hit for over 1k per swing on towers and keeps and about 600 on heroes. For reference a normal heroes auto attack will be doing about 250-300 at this time.

I think the issue is the maps are all made by Blizzard (I think?) with certain objectives in mind which are tuned for certain squad sizes. If it was open-ended CTF like Tribes or something you'd have a good argument for arbitrary squad size but if the maps are more tuned than that I think...

Open Oracle for damage, move into Phoenix if the Terran has gone Rax -> Fact to lift the Cyclone then just kill it with Stalkers. iirc Hercs are light units as well so if he opens Herc (which appears pretty bad TvP) the Oracle can deal with that as well.

Agreed -- I think it would be cooler if there was an all-picking phase and you were locked into that for the match. But having never played the game no idea if that would work out.

At the moment you can have unlimited amounts of the same class on either the same team and the other team. There isn't a picking phase the class selection appears to be more like TF2 where you select it when you drop in and can change on any respawn.

I'd be interested to see if Cyclones are quite as good in non-archon mode. They require a ton of babysitting to do what they're doing and it is obvious one person is dedicated just to Cyclone micro. Also not sure why McHyun aren't experimenting with anything they're just going like vanilla...

Most people are so bad at the game you can just have one meta-proof build and do nothing but that build. Last time I was trying to ladder that is all I did. I stopped trying to be cute and stay ontop of the meta I just found one build that gelled with my style and did it.

Fnatic didn't execute the gameplan very well. If you go for that aggressive kill focused style you need way more than 2 kills like they got. They were running around more time than actually accomplishing anything. I'm surprised the early game was even that close.

If you want to find games that appeal to a niche audience then stop looking at AAA games and publishers

I think everyone has a vanilla jump but I believe some get additional skills on their jump like jetpacks. I know they said that by default everyone does NOT have sprint.
