This is one of those series that I've never played, because as they were coming out, I was far far too addicted to MMO's to even care. I recently bought on deal the trilogy pack, and reading peoples comments makes me want to play them even more. Especially ME3 multiplayer.

Can you save at any moment in FFV or is it like BD where you can only save at certain points/npcs? Thinking about loading it up on the tablet and bringing it to work, but I don't want to be far into an area, and then be distracted, and have to lose all my work.

Is it a problem if I've dumped all my points into Daggers, for my BD, but want to switch swords so I can hit GM swords sooner? I don't get those points back, so does that really hurt me, or since because I've already committed to daggers, I might as well continue with it?

That, and I guess the release day patch really changed a lot of things on it. Even NPC locations and stuff was changed. So there's a lot of info out there that is bad.

My first team of Druid, Merc, Crusader, and Bladedancer got smacked hard by the end boss of the Lighthouse, but I also didn't realize I had to go back and buy spells. Going to do that tonight, and I think I'm going to smack around the big Naga pretty good.

That's about as far as I've gotten. RPs are casters, and can certainly be a healer if you spec them into Light. Their fireballs are boss though!

I didn't like fire emblem because I find it tedious to move a whole party around every turn. It adds a layer of strategy I suppose but I just wasn't liking it. You already have the Zelda edition so you have a link to the past pre installed. That's another great game.

Started my 4 Mage team last night and started tracking the time with it as well. 2 hours in and things are going well so far. RPs are dn nice. If I run out of mana they jab with a spear for 20 damage. Damn good.

The save shows in game time, not real time if I remember correctly. So it's basically useless other than giving you a point of reference for how far into that save you are. So ya, must of missed it, because your mention of 60 days is all I remember seeing, along with the time stamp of the save.
